  1. Good looking Starliner. Nice conversion. Can't wait to get started on mine.
  2. Great job on this, Matt. It looks fantastic. And I continue to be very impressed with this kit.
  3. Beautiful model. Nicely built. The new Revell Jag seems to build up well. I'll soon put one of these in the stash.
  4. Good looking truck. Nice work so far. Who makes the resin body and grill? I have a '72 Crew Cab project in similar colours coming up sometime. Your build is inspiring me.
  5. Nice work, Jr. The engine looks great. The new carb really brings it to life.
  6. Cool projects. Your foil work is very neat.
  7. Very cool project. The two Jeeps look great together. Nice work.
  8. Looking great. Your textures and weathering is spot on. Nice work.
  9. Very much looking forward to that.
  10. Cool project, and interesting kit. I have a couple in the stash (though neither one this particular version) and curious how well they go together. Opening the grill makes a big improvement.
  11. That's a thoughtful addition. I likely build mine as a right driver anyway. It seems most of the non-American cars on my shelf are RHD.
  12. Cool subject. I like it. What kit is it?
  13. Cool Lancia. Such wicked little machines. Numerous builders have mentioned the 'pucker moment' when fitting the body to the chassis. Looking at your last photo showing the underside, I can imagine how much of a problem this must be.
  14. Nice work. Everything is super clean.
  15. What a beautiful little Triumph. Just gorgeous.
  16. Just found this thread. Excellent work. I’m watching.
  17. Beautiful dragster.
  18. Love the story. That model is just dripping with old school cool.
  19. This is quite a kit. The molded detail is remarkable, and the built up subassemblies are excellent. Very fine work so far. Do you build many metal kits? I’ve been curious to have a go at one, but my preconceived notion is that they are generally monsters with deplorable fit. Apparently this is not necessarily so. I’m very impressed with this one.
  20. I mask and paint after the final polishing. I use BMF as the masking medium. Tamiya semi gloss black acrylic sprayed lightly usually looks pretty good.
  21. Nice work. I must say it looks better than I thought it would. Good job integrating all of the various components into one cohesive look. Really digging the early Charger talilight assembly.
  22. Excellent build of this notoriously difficult kit. Probably the best I've seen. Kudos for sticking with it and seeing it through. Beautiful job. As a 16 yr old in high school in the early 80s I had a shop teacher who was a 59 Ford fanatic. He owned over a dozen of them, including two Skyliners. He also had a case of the Revell kits, and knowing I was a model builder he asked if I would put one together for him. I was excited to have a go, but eventuality threw in the towel. That kit owned me. Not wanting to be bested by a kit, in the 90s I purchased another one to give it another try. It's still sitting in my stash, sneering at me from time to time. One day I'll take another crack at it.
  23. This is my method as well, and never had a problem. Tamiya also has clear red in lacquer bottle now. I've bought some but have yet to try it. For clarification, I am airbrushing the stuff, not hand painting.
