  1. Beautiful Vette. Nice and clean and great colour. Nice save on the paint. Well done! I’m curious about the masking tape problem. I’ve had the same thing happen on both Tamiya and Duplicolor lacquer paint. How long was the tape left on? Was it in the dehydrator at any time with the tape on it?
  2. Looking good, Sidney. Nice tidy work.
  3. Nice work Pat. Cool looking Sierra. Good work on all those decals.
  4. My thoughts exactly. This has to be the best job I’ve seen of getting that roof right. I’ve passed over this kit many times over the years, thinking the roof was hopeless. You’ve shown otherwise. Great job on replicating an iconic movie car. One of my favourites. Under hood detailing looks the biz. Overall, one freaking cool Challenger. Excellent work.
  5. This was waiting on the doorstep when I got home from work. Ebay purchase, pure nostalgia trip. When I was about 8 or 9, this was the first model I saved up for and bought with my own money. It was $3.75 then. I just paid $50 US (about $68 CDN) plus shipping. Nostalgia ain’t cheap. Can’t wait to peel off the plastic.
  6. Cool scene. Nice work on the hot spring.
  7. Charles, I'm guessing you have sold your soul to the devil somewhere along the way. I can think of no other reason for you absolutely impeccable and authentic weathering. Your dioramas are always such a pleasure to check out. So much fine detail. So much realism. Even successfully capturing the emotions on the faces of the two guys. No small feat, that. The face of the driver is just perfect. So impressive. Excellent work.
  8. Nice looking Lambo. The Murcielago is such a clean design by Lamborghini standards. Nice work on your build, and the colour choice is perfect. Well done.
  9. Another hot modified. There seems to be quite a few done lately. I'm really digging seeing these MPC modifieds getting the detail treatment. Yours is beautiful. The extra detailing really wakes up these old kits. Very nicely done.
  10. Wicked modified! You have done a great job of replicating a period racer. Love what you've done with it. Beautiful.
  11. Cool. It's great to see such uncommon subject matter on the forum. Nicely done.
  12. Nice work! The pearl paint is perfect for this build. Nice clean build. This must be one of the most enduring kits of the era. Out of production for several decades, builds of this kit still pop up regularly on the forum.
  13. Cool period bucket. You nailed it. I loved these T buckets when I was a kid. It's been 45 years since I built one, might soon be time to build another. Very nice work on yours.
  14. Cool build and great style, Bernard. Love the real world hot rods, and you do them so well. Cheers.
  15. Wow! Stellar paint! That is simply gorgeous. Over all great build and detailing, but, that paint. Love it!
  16. Nice work. This can be a finicky kit, but you have done a great job of putting it together. It's a bold looking machine. Very cool!
  17. Coming along nicely. I'm really keen to watch this build come together. I've been wanting to build the Fujimi EM kit of this car for years, but they are pricey these days. I do have a Fujimi Daytona I'll get to one day, but it's not the EM kit.
  18. Dann, that chassis looks the business. Very nice work there.
  19. And, EVERYTHING is bigger and heavier. Actually, Colin Chapman was quite clever with his frame design, protecting it from accident damage by placing the driver and/or passenger between it and any potential side impact. ?
  20. Yeah, I used to do that, too. Then, I continued to buy kits and became one of those guys others point to and say, "See, I'm not so bad". I also don't have a wife anymore, so it has all worked out for the best.?
  21. Very cool stuff, Alan. Proper grassroots racing. I'm really digging your parts-box racers. It looks like a very fun project. Well done.
  22. Another beauty, Pierre. I am a huge GT-40 fan (like so many others), but the black LeMans car always looked particularly fearsome. The black paint made it seem menacing. Lovely work on yours. Great paint. Everything looks 'right'. Very well done.
  23. Things are looking great, Jim. Therse MPC modifieds and super stockers were some of my favourite models growing up, and I find they still have that cool short-track vibe right out of the box. I'm glad to see one of these kits getting the full work-out. Great work so far.
  24. I love checking out your builds. Always a high degree of realism and interesting subject matter. This one certainly fills the bill. The weathering is spot on. Beautiful work.
  25. Love it! That is one cool model. You captured the period pro/stock look beautifully. Very striking. Nice work.
