  1. What scale? Anything available for parts swapping?
  2. I'm half wat through a build on mine- what you encountered fit wise will be a big help!
  3. I love that 48- it's downright evil- don't change a thing! BTW, what is the finish on the trim?
  4. Excellent, enjoyable how to- I will be watching, and looking forward to what direction this will go!
  5. Great project! Might the v-12 be getting Ardun heads? Really like the front mounted blower!
  6. Good to know about dull coat turning weathering powder into a dull paint like mess. However, I seem to recall that people do fix their weathering with dull coat, so a bit of confusion- comments?
  7. Build your diorama and the figures to please yourself- it will spend much more time enjoyed in your home than on a contest table- and pix on the forum would be most welcome!
  8. Amazing work- this just keeps getting better and better! What material did you cast the steering wheel rim from?

    RUST.

Very realistic! I grew up in Massachusetts on the ocean- not only road salt but salt air! I would love to see some of your techniques demonstrated.
  10. There was a movie from the early fifties- can not remember the title or actors- younger brother goes to find out about his convicted brother- in the bedroom there is a 32 Ford roadster model looking like the old Monogram kit. I would welcome more info if anyone could help.
  11. I would love a 1/25th scale kit of the Stuart Hilborn streamliner- the first hot rod to go 150 mph and the test bed for Mr. Hilborn's prototype mechanical fuel injection unit.
  12. I'm waiting for warm enough weather to finish painting the Hurricane Typhoon (aka the egg crate grille and the car behind it). Next will be the 1946 Power Wagon which will pull a large speed boat and trailer, also to be built. Then a model A roadster with a 289 Cobra engine and manual tranny. Finish the 62 T-bird, Opel GT, Lincoln Continental custom, several hot rodded Ford customs, several Ford hot rods, building all the Renwal Revivals, building a custom bodied Duesenberg, building the Stuart Hilborn streamliner- OK, that's more like a lifetime list but I will have a lot of fun trying!
  13. Ok, I'm stumped- where did it come from?
  14. Crazy weather- floods one place, fires somewhere else, mega snow, drought- tornados- hurricanes- ????
  15. Lived in St. Cloud MN for a year- minus 30 with minus 15 feeling warm- is that warped?
  16. Keep us posted!
  17. Looking fantastic! Will the body color stay flat?
  18. Nice weathering- really looks like a barn find!
  19. Interesting how many of us use kit goodies to help us build- nice work so far, looking forward to more.
  20. Post war Dodge Powerwagon- Ertl Collectibles 1/25th scale diecast. Available and reasonably priced.
