  1. Doesn't look like steam, but no visible exhaust pipe either- diesel or gas?
  2. Built mine a few years ago. Had better luck with the hood, but never cared for the bumpers.
  3. The Revell parts pack show display had a chrome 2 piece engine stand. I use mine a lot. I'll post a pic when I get a minute.
  4. If you decide to chop the top, don't go as hard as the kit parts- half way between stock and the kit chop looks better- what they call a " gentleman's chop".
  5. Would you consider a V'd windshield to complement the v-shaped cowl area? Regarding that supercharger, it has been a favorite of mine for years. I have even doubled up the center casing to make a longer unit.
  6. The engineering is great, so now a background story need to be imagineered!
  7. Your weathering and fabrication are great! Looking forward to more- and I assume snow will be involved?
  8. Another great project! Curious about the special project status of this build!
  9. I don't know if Norm is back from his surgery, but everything seemed to be going well- perhaps someone on the forum can give an update?
  10. Replicas and Miniatures has both the quick change and the axle tubes- saves robbing kits!
  11. Here is a Monogram 3 Ford sport coupe. I was able to repair the broken front axle and make a matching hair pin. Otherwise as built by the original builder, including all the decals, which are in great shape.
  12. Having been to the Fall Meet in Hershey, the Hot Rod Nats in York, and many events at Carlisle, you have definitely nailed the flea market vibe! Of course if you decide to model Hershey you would need mud.............
  13. What scale? Anything available for parts swapping?
  14. I'm half wat through a build on mine- what you encountered fit wise will be a big help!
  15. I love that 48- it's downright evil- don't change a thing! BTW, what is the finish on the trim?
  16. Excellent, enjoyable how to- I will be watching, and looking forward to what direction this will go!
  17. Great project! Might the v-12 be getting Ardun heads? Really like the front mounted blower!
  18. Good to know about dull coat turning weathering powder into a dull paint like mess. However, I seem to recall that people do fix their weathering with dull coat, so a bit of confusion- comments?
  19. Build your diorama and the figures to please yourself- it will spend much more time enjoyed in your home than on a contest table- and pix on the forum would be most welcome!
  20. Amazing work- this just keeps getting better and better! What material did you cast the steering wheel rim from?

    RUST.

Very realistic! I grew up in Massachusetts on the ocean- not only road salt but salt air! I would love to see some of your techniques demonstrated.
