The Revell parts pack show display had a chrome 2 piece engine stand. I use mine a lot. I'll post a pic when I get a minute.

If you decide to chop the top, don't go as hard as the kit parts- half way between stock and the kit chop looks better- what they call a " gentleman's chop".

Would you consider a V'd windshield to complement the v-shaped cowl area? Regarding that supercharger, it has been a favorite of mine for years. I have even doubled up the center casing to make a longer unit.

Replicas and Miniatures has both the quick change and the axle tubes- saves robbing kits!

Here is a Monogram 3 Ford sport coupe. I was able to repair the broken front axle and make a matching hair pin. Otherwise as built by the original builder, including all the decals, which are in great shape.

Having been to the Fall Meet in Hershey, the Hot Rod Nats in York, and many events at Carlisle, you have definitely nailed the flea market vibe! Of course if you decide to model Hershey you would need mud.............

Good to know about dull coat turning weathering powder into a dull paint like mess. However, I seem to recall that people do fix their weathering with dull coat, so a bit of confusion- comments? -
Figures in dioramas; is it cheating to 'contract' them out?

Build your diorama and the figures to please yourself- it will spend much more time enjoyed in your home than on a contest table- and pix on the forum would be most welcome! -
Very realistic! I grew up in Massachusetts on the ocean- not only road salt but salt air! I would love to see some of your techniques demonstrated.
