  1. Great job, Walter. Try an doing a couple of pictures outside for better color registration. You might also want to shut the flash off, as it might be washing the color out. Charlie Larkin
  2. If you can get a Jo-Han body and interior, with a little creativity, you can mate the vastly-better 330 running gear to the Jo-Han body/interior/chrome/rims; that's the best route to a very nice Polara. The '53 Ford is excellent. One of the best ever from anyone. Ditto the Hudson. Charlie Larkin
  3. We have a winner! Charlie Larkin
  4. I use these to store WIPs from time-to-time. My major concern is because they're rather thin, how they'd hold up over time, especially if stacked. Charlie Larkin
  5. These are coming along beautifully, Pat. Great work. Charlie Larkin
  6. One museum I'd like to go visit someday. Nice layout. I can only dream of having that much space. Charlie Larkin
  7. I'm working on developing a product not too dissimilar to this. Rob, yours is really nice. It's giving me a couple of ideas. Charlie Larkin
  8. Excellent job on this. That welding looks great. Charlie Larkin
  9. Well done. Charlie Larkin
  10. Cool, I'll have to get one just because. Charlie Larkin
  11. They're liquid, so that's a good start. Won't be using them for a bit, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Charlie Larkin
  12. Long gone. Nice job, Al. Charlie Larkin
  13. My order from Dec. 5 or 6 arrived either Friday or Saturday- not sure as I didn't check the mail. Good thing I did. We had a couple of very cold nights, and I shudder to think what might have happened to the paint. Colors looks great, I'll look forward to doing some painting. Charlie Larkin
  14. What an awful bit of news. That does explain that post, I suppose. I dealt with him on a trade/cash deal, definitely cared about the hobby and its future. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Charlie Larkin
  15. This is a very nice looking little SUV. Not at all like the name might suggest. Too bad we can't get these here. I'd give this some serious thought. Charlie Larkin
  16. Yes, I am. Gotta admit, that'd be one helluva jam session. I have the solution for organ. Although not a jazz organist, the incomparable E. Powers Biggs will sit stand in until a more suitable player can be determined. A sample of his playing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVu0auaZu7s Charlie Larkin
  17. I'm looking forward to the Volare and the Sunbeam. Is that Pinto able to be built as a stock car at all? I wonder how hard it would be to make it into a '73? My dad had a '73 Pinto Squire. Charlie Larkin
  18. That appears to be the case. I'm in for one or two. Charlie Larkin
  19. Anyone, eh? Aiming for something of a jazz/funk band.... Dave Brubeck and Thelonius Monk on twin pianos. Bernard Edwards on bass. Wes Montgomery on rhythm guitar. Buddy Rich on drums. Benny Goodman on clarinet. Kenny G on sax. I need a suggestion for organ. Jimmy Smith playing the organ. A Hammond B-3, naturally. Al Hirt and Jimmy Dorsey on trumpets. Jeffrey Osborne, Tony Bennett, Jody Whatley, and Carmen McRae for vocals, depending on song. Charlie Larkin
  20. I've had many, many days that felt like that, Tom. I hear you loud and clear. Enjoy your Christmas and New Year's break. You've certainly earned it after that day. Just got me to thinking, McDonald's old "You deserve a break today" ad campaign. Sounds like that zit-faced kid is lucky he didn't get a break- arm, leg, neck..... Numpty....I like that. I'm going to remember that one. Charlie Larkin
  21. That came out very nicely, Mark. Charlie Larkin
  22. Make it a TH-400 and a fawn or saddle interior, and I'd have probably ordered that myself. Hauls in more way than one! Great job, Ron. Charlie Larkin
  23. Looks about right for the metallic aqua of that period. Very nice. Charlie Larkin
  24. And each a work of art. Charlie Larkin
  25. Very credible job, Mark. Charlie Larkin
