How to remove an emblem frpm a grill.
1930fordpickup replied to RT6PK's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
If you tried to sand it out, I would use tape over the areas to protect the grill next to the RT. Just keep replacing the tape if you sand through it. Good Luck. -
My Favorite CD from Colin James, Bad Habits has this little song on it. Speechless.

Jim I think this is the old Revell kit that has everything open. Not a great kit just a hard one to get right. You can handle it.

Who is Bradley Cooper? I really have no idea other than the name rings a bell. The reason is I don't go to the movies much anymore as they are all the same in one form or another. Same format just a different place and time. Yes I am more of a comedy guy when it comes to movies. If they want to remake a movie why not take one like this stinker Xanadu and make it a better movie if you are that good. No I don't want a remake of that but any bad movie is my point.

When ordering online I will look to see if they have free shipping over an amount. Why pay the shipping when you can pay for 1 or 2 more kits you will buy anyway. If that is not in the Budget then you can't do it. But if you can that is a good way to buy also. -
What non-auto model did you get today?
1930fordpickup replied to chunkypeanutbutter's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Nice bike Mike. My brothers buddy had a 400IT same blue color. I was a wuss and never jumped in the saddle. I stayed on the Honda 250 that was well worn. I would have hurt myself on that 400 beast. -

I managed to not go into any of the local Stores this week. Tempted by a couple of the newer releases but I have too many kits already. We will see how long this not picking anything up lasts. -

I agree on the shuttle. I think the 1929 is the old The Wild Ones Model A from MPC. but it does have a 4 door woody body also. I was thinking it was a 2 door but I just checked and the box art shows a 4 door. -

Yes Steve I agree. With the popularity of the the Monster trucks they should have had their own tooling to make the most from the engineering. A shame they have left money on the table when these other trucks could have been released over the last few years. Watching the internet auction site they have not been cheap for a decade or so. Good luck with your work on this Steve. Thanks for the Info

What if AMT went the 3d printed route? They have the tooling to get the best measurements so that the grills should fit well. Package the 78 Ford truck with a corrected for say 76 grill. Same with the Dodge trucks . A few 3d printed parts right from AMT in the box. Yes I understand this would not work for a lot of what needs changed in some of the tooling but give the guy in the Videos something else to do between release video's/ LOL

I second this. That Satellite reminds me of my late friends car. His was not even close to being as nice as yours. -
