  1. Great work. Good looking interior. So....you have a 1:1??? Any photos? I had a friend who had one and I tried to talk him out if it a few years ago. No sale. Later-
  2. Very nice custom. The hard work shows. I like what you have done, but like Mike, to me the headlights are a bit oversized. All in all, a very ambitious project that turned out excellent. Later-
  3. Welcome to the forum! Not a bad looking build at all. I'd say you did fairly well for your first build. You got all of the basics down. A clean looking car with no major (or glaring) mistakes that I can see. Great job. You should enjoy the RX-7. I just recently finished a Aoshima RX-7 myself. If the Tamiya is anything like it, it will go together quite well. Where are you located in Idaho? I am just across the border in Eastern Washington about 30 miles north of Spokane on Hywy 2. Later-
  4. Picked these up yesterday. My wife and i cut them off of a 53 GMC pickup in a farmer's yard. These were the only thing on the cab that was still undamaged. I figured they will make some nice yard art. Model related? Let's just say that they are reference material for my next weathered build. Lol! http:// Later-
  5. Beautiful build. That color suits it nicely but is not one you see on builds often. Great choice. Later-
  6. Thank you David, Nick and Chris. Later-
  7. Thanks Paul. I've actually got quite a bit done on this so far. The top chop was quite a bit easier this time than on previous attempts. This will be a slow build since it is a filler project for now. Later-
  8. Like many of you I have a number of projects in the works that I bounce back and forth on as I focus mainly on one. This is one that I chopped sometime last year and have been pecking away at it. I am planning a deep red metallic body and fiery orange frame. I started today with a base of copper. Here it is after a few mist coats. http:// Here is the lowered frame with color. http:// Later-
  9. Ken, Thanks for the advice. I'll keep an eye on that. Later-
  10. Thank you guys. I'll take a look. Later-
  11. Does anyone know of a seller of a RS/SS grille that will fit the AMT annuals, besides Modelhaus? I seem to recall at least one other. Later-
  12. Oh good! I can rest easy now. Lol Later-
  13. It all looks fantastic. BMF is my least favorite part of the build. Yours looks great. Later-
  14. No! Completely changed the whole look. Not for the better to my way of thinking. Later-
  15. Nice build, but I wonder what that guy is doing in there with his girl to make the windows so fogged up? Lol! Welcome to the board BTW. Later-
  16. Very nice indeed. I love the color. I can't wait to dig into my 63, 65 and 67 rebuilds. I may have to go with this color on my 67. My 63 is going to take quite a bit of work like yours. Seems the previous owner glued rectangle taillights on it similar to a 67 Firebird. I may have to do the triple taillight treatment too. Love that look. Later-
  17. Nice work. It definitely has a Zocchi custom look. I love his cars. Great job on this one. Later-
  18. Beautiful Tbird! Great color choice. I forgot that I have this kit to build. Any points to watch out for? Later-
  19. Wow! Gotta get me one or two. Keep it going. I'm loving it. Later-
  20. Very nice start. The only way to reconcile your delima is to buy a second kit and build it with the aluminum paintjob. Sounds like an easy fix to me. Later-
  21. Brilliant idea!! I can't believe how much time I've spent doing the same. Now I have an easy fix. Your build is looking great too. Can't wait to see more progress on it. Later-
  22. Man, that looks amazing. Great stance and the BMF really sets off the paint. I like that you foiled the trim around the roof too. Later-
  23. Very nice custom work. One to be proud of. Later-
  24. Saw this in a man's yard this morning and I stopped to take photos. 68 Olds Delta 98 Convertible. http://http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/Modlbldr/Car Shows/20160730_085426.jpg For some reason I can only get the link to post instead of the picture. Later-
