  1. Steve, Beautiful job on this. The details are just perfect. The engine is a thing of beauty and I love the stance. Nice work. Later-
  2. Nice save. Great to have something like this linking your hobby and your father's hobby. I remember my Dad having some built up kits in the basement of my grandparents ranch and eyeing them as a kid. Sure wish I had them. I was so young I don't even remember what they were. Just remember the bare white plastic. Congratulations on a nice build. Later-
  3. Those look good! Love the stance on both of them. Later-
  4. That would be the one. Lol. Right now I'm having an issue with the front of the body not sitting all the way down. It wants to stick up and shows about an 1/8 inch of the frame rails below the front of the doors. Seems that the interior tin is hitting on the rear chassis wheel wells. I may just end up gluing it closed. I highly doubt I would display it very often with the body up anyway. I spent some time today painting and assembling the engine. I may be able to get this finished this weekend. Later-
  5. Nice work on that one. The continental kit looks right at home and the color is perfect for this car. Great job! What's next? Later-
  6. Wow! Beautiful job! I'm glad to see that you persevered and got it finished. Looks like you used Tamiya Mica Blue? Later-
  7. No. I think these will work. Just some nice old Firestones. I like the look of them because they are tall and somewhat skinny. Looked a bit like these. I got a bunch of the pieces remaining painted up today and ready to assemble. I should be able to get this done by early next week. Later-
  8. Got about an hour to work on this today. Got the front suspension put together. I'm going to have a bit of touch up painting to do on the chassis. Later-
  9. It's amazing how well it goes together when you build it the way it was supposed to be built. I don't even want to discuss what I was doing wrong. I've got to find some different front tires. The two piece kit tires are way too big, in my opinion. Later-
  10. Thank you. It's been a fun build so far. Later-
  11. Thanks Scott. Later-
  12. I got this the other day in the mail from Sam I Am. Going to build it for a guy at work who likes this type of stuff. For those who don't know, it is a resin copy of the gun Will Smith used in Men In Black 2. Later-
  13. Been plugging along a bit more on this one while I wait for the paint to dry on my 63 Tempest. Later-
  14. Very interesting and rare car. Reminds me a lot of the Shalako. Nice job on it. Later-
  15. I'm with you. I might need to find these parts. Anybody got the parts they don't want? Hit me up. Looking forward to seeing where these two builds go. Later-
  16. Can't go wrong with a red and white 57 Chevy. Looking good. Later-
  17. Do you have a link for the manufacturer? I'd be up for getting a case. I already have a need for 3. Later-
  18. Got my end of a couple of deals. One with Dr Kerry and one with Painted Black. Thank you both very much! Extremely happy! Later-
  19. Nice haul. Just got these two from another FB Marketplace deal. Both complete and unstarted for a good price. Also got my Ramblur and my 69 AMX rebuilder. 5 kits in one day! Later-
  20. I like that! You've given me some ideas. I have a spare Camaro body and parts from the Pro Sportsman series of kits. I may have to do a Nash. Later-
  21. Lol. Sorry to hear that. I have another of these on the way. I think the main parts are untouched. I'll have to figure out what way I want to build it. Later-
  22. Just got this delivered to me from a guy on FB Marketplace for about half price. Complete and unstarted. Later-
  23. That contrasting green is a good choice. Looks a bit familiar. Lol! Looking good! Now you need a white with a green pearl, like this in the bottle. Later-
  24. Can't tell much difference from the primer shot but I got a first coat of Testors Classic White on it. It is in the dehydrator for a bit and then a quick second coat. Later-
