  1. I just completed a trade with bluestringer, AKA James D. Paramore. Good communication, packed well. As good as it gets!
  2. This is so nifty!!!! The merging of the roof looks like it was molded that way. The weathering is very nicely done.
  3. Looks great.....details please. What chassis, etc.?
  4. I sent you a message. In the upper right there's an envelope. Click on it and you can read it. Messages are a great way to have a conversation between two people.
  5. It looks much more detailed than some 1/25th scale kits. This build is getting me to want one.
  6. That's very interesting. I'm curious how it works over different color primers as well as body work.
  7. This is a great example of scratch building.
  8. Found the answer for type of cutter.
  9. Let me end part of this discussion. AMT knocked it out of the park with the Charger. Much of the same research would apply to the Challenger. The new release will be an updated super kit of the Challenger as a wide body. As far as the cloned reissue, it will either be the Cosma Ray (I've found enough pieces to cobble one together) or some stock bodied kit that I will have no interest in. It could also be one of the MPC Pro Stockers excluding the Mustang II. We know the full Mustang II mold should still exist due to its 2005 release so no cloning should be needed. I'm thinking either the Challenger, Cuda or late Duster. The Cuda was modified from its early issues especially around the headlights. The late Duster has had a couple of changes to the body. It would be interesting if they'd modify the AMT Duster into the California Flash instead of trying to renew the MPC 1971 Duster. IT WILL not be the Dick Harrell Camaro funny car simply because I really want one and can't afford it.
  10. It brought a smile to my face.
  11. Truly an oddball build....I LOVE IT! If this is your first build, have you built other types of models?
  12. This looks much closer to many OEM wire looms than PE. PE looks more like an aftermarket piece. This is a great idea.
  13. Always good to see your work. I have the body and decals to do this car. Does the Tach magazine have any detail photos of it?
  14. Concerning the black car lines. The lines should be matte or flat and the trunk gloss. This will give the definition you desire.
  15. For a simple, no one bothers to add details kit, you've added a bunch of details! Looks great.
  16. Dollar Tree foam core poster board. $1.25 plus tax. Enough for most spray booths.
  17. The Jo-Han Maverick/Comet motor is really good. If Moebius offered that quality, I'd be happy to see it return. Same for many of the interior parts. When I first saw this rumor I contacted one individual with good industry connections. His comment was, "The only thing I KNOW is it has been on the 'TO DO' list for a while........but so has a 70 Javelin.....so.........." I also contacted Moebius directly. It's a good suggestion, but there's been "Moebius" box art for a Maverick for years that is an internet hoax, so don't get fooled into thinking it's right around the corner.Moebius ModelsOn 2023-02-18 03:37, iborg wrote:
  18. I believe this is one of JoHan's best castings. Very nice build.
  19. BlizzCon has a history of being a really good IPMS show. After the debacle of no heat last year and 15 degree weather, its been moved to the Markay Center. This is a tremendous venue. Come enter! Here's the show flyer. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10226160025820613&set=gm.6066711720055372&idorvanity=100922699967667
  20. My wife appreciates these being offered. Four more kits that won't come home with me.
  21. Words fail me. This is one of the coolest models I've ever seen. I do wish it was being still sold as this would be a great kit for my local clubs Halloween build. AMAZING Build!!!
  22. I think that if NASCAR is going to run a short track race, they should use short track rules.
  23. Dan, how did you do the knurling?
  24. If anyone is planning on going to the Don Garlits museum or have and if you took pictures of the interior of the WynnsJammer, the car AMT kitted, could you please share them? I'm working on this kit and doing several things to make it more accurate and would like some inside shots of the drivers compartment. I've got the Hot Rod article where "Garlits Tells All" but I lack details of the interior.
  25. Very impressive. I hope these are available for purchase.
