Not sure what you are asking. The movie Bullitt car is a `968 which share zero sheet metal with the 65/66 body. If you are just wanting to build a 'Bullitt Style' 65 then build it stock, green with 5 spoke wheels. No scoops on hood or side vents.

You guys are hitting it on all 8 cylinders!!!!! With SAE gone and CM was floundering I was worried. Now CM reminds me of the old CM & MCS days!!! Thank you all for the hard work.

Thanks.....we lived in So Cal all of the 1960's and I think Datsun was pretty much on West coast at the timr. I'd love to find one. It was a mini Ford Falcon......same type suspension, a mini 9" rear......it looked like Datsun just shrank one down!!! Keep us posted!

Just like 'SPAM' phone calls .....e-mail senders are 'spoofing' their addresses and thus hard to block when they change address daily. In the mornings I just select all junk, hit delete and live with it.

The last issue of the RM 59 Caddy almost ALL the kits had crushed A pillars. RM made it good......but it should not have happened......agreed.

Very well done!!!! I rode SF cable cars but not in SF!! Knott's Berry Farm bought some cable cars and installed them at the park.

So far it seems WM ships them to stores in area WITH hobby shop (or HL) but not to areas without hobby stores. My local WM is 2 hours from any hobby kit retailer but NEVER gets kits. Yet in Lexington KY, with a number of hobby retailers, gets multiple shippers of kits?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Was at a WM in KY and they had the isle display AND half a isle full of kits. Nothing I needed at their price so I passed on buying.

AMC did do a Massive amount of parts sharing and swapping.........But not between the Hornet/Gremlin and AMX/Javelin line on major components. Front windshield on all AMX and Javelin are the same for all years, as are door skins!! Minor parts like door handles were on all models at one time or another!! I find a few parts shared between my Javelin and Matador even!!!

AMT looked at it at the same time the 51 Studie......neither made it. As said Modelhaus has a very nice curbside kit.....I'll build mine someday!!! My wife bought me the Danbury 1/24 die cast that is the nicest DC I own. They are out there around $100....
