  10. Hello Everybody! It's time for the next batch of photos. Just a nice profile shot. I fabricated some ghostbusting equipment for the mostly empty cargo area. A bit of that equipment can be seen in this photo. The roof rack is a quintessential feature of this car. Polar Lights simplified much of the equipment and though it still provided a decent representation, I felt that more needed to be done. I borrowed the transparent radar dome and heat sink on the back from the AMT kit as well as some of the warning label decals. Other decals I manufactured. I built a fan assembly for the HVAC unit. The thing that Polar Lights put there was... well, I couldn't actually tell what it was. Or what it was even supposed to be. I seriously had to research it to learn what was supposed to go there. I also wired the little silver box on the side and painted dials on the SCUBA tanks on the other side. I'll point those out later in another photo. I'll have more soon. As always, thanks for looking and feel free to post any comments or questions you may have. David G.
  11. Merci Philippe. (sorry, that's all the French I know) David G.
  12. Thank you John, I appreciate that. I've spent some time on your website admiring your work Bill. Your attention to detail and building skills are impressive to say the least, so I'm not surprised that you would catch such a small detail. And yeah, extra wheels are always nice to have. David G.
  13. It's been a long trip and she's having no more of it! Beautiful details and weathering! It obviously tells a story which is one of the things that a diorama is supposed to do. Well Done! David G.
  14. You have some really great ideas going on here! David G.
  15. Good replica, nicely done! David G.
  16. Sweet Pontiac! Love the backdrop too. David G.
  17. Thank you Jim, it's kind of you to say so. Thank you Bill, I appreciate that. So, what's different about the wheels in the kit? The only difference I see might be that the wheels on the TV car look like they're cast and the kit wheels are thinner like stamped wheels. In either case, I'm content with the ones offered in the kit. Regards, David G.
  18. Hello Everybody! Here's another quick set of Ecto-1 photos. The clunky twin antennas on the red and white striped weather radar dome received bead wire replacements similar to the main whip. Here's a shot of the louvered vent on the rear door, along with the fuel filler neck I fabricated and added. More rear detail. For as much trouble as I had with the chrome foil trim, I'm glad that it worked well on the tail fins and tail light spears. That's all for this round, I should have some more tomorrow. As always, thanks for taking the time to look. David G.
  19. Thank you Bill Thanks David, I wanted to get the equipment as correct as I could. Thanks Jason, I'm glad you like it. David G.
  20. That's a sweet set-up! It all looks great together. Better get some tie-downs on that trike though. David G.
  21. In any case, I'm glad you're back Snake. David G.
  22. Looks great! It reminds me of a mild contemporary customization. The stance looks right, kind of like new shocks tires with the custom wheels. David G.

  24. That came out great! A good solid looking build. David G.
  25. It looks like those extra coats made a big difference Bob. Much deeper and richer of a color. David G.
