  1. No, one step at a time. Maybe someday I'll get to where I can do lighting like that but for now I need to start simply. Thanks for your comment Carl, it's nice to know that someone's watching. David G.
  2. Great paint, assembly and detailing, fabulous work! David G.
  3. The color mix looks perfect, nicely done! David G.
  4. Hello Everybody! I got the lighting kit installed and just had to take a couple of test shots. I was going for a "dome lights on" effect. I think using two Chip Nano Pico LEDs in warm white was the right choice. The next step is to work out the window tint. As always, thanks for taking time to look and please feel free to comment. David G.
  5. The interior looks great, excellent dash detail. It looks like your paint laid down well too. David G.
  6. Ah, that's the question I was asking without actually asking it! I knew that mounting stock wheels to a shortened axle would put them deep in the well and I was wondering how you planned to address that. An excellent solution BTW. David G.

  14. Without seeing them assembled, it's really hard to tell where the parts are conflicting with one another. If you could post some shots of the problem areas somebody may be able to offer some pointers. Aside from that, everything you have so far looks great. David G.
  15. Nice work on the Pacer. The color combination reminds me of AMC's Levi's Edition trim package. David G.

  20. Hello Everybody! As I was building all those the detail items for inside the car, I began to think that it was a shame that most of it would never be seen once final assembly took place. So I decided to light the interior. I wanted just enough to make the interior bits visible, like if the dome lights on the car were on. That way all my hard work could be better appreciated. I did some research and self-education and came up with a plan for building my first lighted model kit and ordered the parts. My light kit arrived the other day and I can't wait to crack into it. I ordered two Chip Nano Pico LEDs, a battery holder and battery from Evan Design at https://evandesigns.com/. I placed the order on Friday and received delivery on the following Monday. That's pretty quick. Here's the first mockup, planning wire routing and locations for installation. I'm really looking forward to this! As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to comment. David G.
