  4. Thank you both for your comments. This should be a fairly quick build. David G.
  5. Wow! Fantastic work on the roof. I went back and looked at a photo you posted that included the windshield to see if I could see what you didn't like about it. Other than some possible issues with the fit, I didn't see anything that stood out to me. So I'm curious as to what bothered you about the windshield. David G.
  6. Excellent work so far, I'm enjoying following along. Thanks for keeping us up to date on your progress. David G.
  7. Sweet looking roadrunner. It's a shame about the tail lights. David G.
  8. Ebay... I haven't been on Ebay in about five years. With all the anything-for-a-buck vampires parting out vintage model kits to sell a single Jo-Han wheel rim for $35.99 plus $17.00 S & H, it's no longer worth torturing myself by even just browsing. David G.
  9. Because yes, right now I just need another Batmobile in my life. I bought this kit about seven years ago and I'm just now getting around to building it. This kit, not surprisingly has a bit of an unconventional design, the first structure to be assembled is the interior. The interior is the central core or in terms of a tank, which this vehicle most closely resembles, the hull. All the other structures are mounted to this hull. There sure are an abundance of monitors and view screens! Although it looks more like tan in some of the photos, the gray on the side bolsters and dash pad is Tamiya XF-12. I guess it's kind of a warm gray. Thanks for taking the time to look and as always, please feel free to comment. David G.
  10. Looks like you're off to a great start! David G.
  11. I think you've made a wise decision deciding to reinforce the structure before making the cut. I'm very interested to see how this plays out. Thanks again for taking the time to share this with us. David G.
  12. Love the wheels! Well worth the wait. David G.
  13. Sweet paintwork! David G.
  14. You've done a bit more than "tweak" this kit, looks more like a complete overhaul. All of it well done, of course. David G.
  15. Sweet looking Gasser! David G.
  16. Beautiful paintwork, great color choice, well detailed, clean build. Looks great from every angle. David G.

  20. Thanks again to everybody who offered their feedback during this build. I can always count on this community for helpful, supportive information. David G.
  21. Smooooooth and Deadly! I really like the fade work you did on the paint. David G.
  22. Looks great! Excellent color combination. David G.
  23. Not quite the direction I plan to go but I may look into that. Thanks for the tip. Thank you. I actually dialed it back a bit on the tool box. When I saw it again the morning after I weathered it, I thought "Yeah, that's a bit much." and removed about half of the grime. Thank you for taking the time to look, all comments are appreciated. David G.
