  1. Great color choice, love what you did with the wheels. All your stacks look straight on the engine, that is always a challenge for me. David G.
  2. Excellent progress! I'm still amazed at the level of detail you[re putting into this. David G.
  3. That's pretty! Sweet color, good clean build. David G.
  4. Time for another update. I'll bet that some of you thought I abandoned this one. Messing around with some decals that I had lying about from an old JU 87b kit. This is the first side I applied them to and I wasn't aware of how visible the excess material would be. I've since come up with a way to address this issue. I didn't like the way this cross on the front looked. It seemed to take something away from the appearance of the nose, so I removed it. On this side, I had the foresight to cut the decals much closer to the image. I think it looks much better. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please always feel free to comment. David G.

  6. Amazing progress on this one! I like your idea of making it a "patina rod". David G.
  7. The paint looks great! The last time I tried the salt technique I couldn't get it to work correctly. Maybe in the places where you sanded through the paint, you could dry brush some Testors Metalizer or similar to give the appearance of bare metal. David G.
  8. Quite possibly the best built version of this kit that I've seen. Nice diorama base too. David G.

  17. Thanks Dann, I'm glad you like it. Thanks also for the pointer on the scoops, I believe that it's the little details like that make a big difference. Small details like that don't seem to consciously register with most people but they still make an impression. Thank you Christian, it's Dupli-Color BFM0236 Silver Charcoal Metallic. It does have a good glow, doesn't it? David G.
  18. Good progress! Nice work area too. David G.
  19. Looks great! Your detail painting is very well done. It's a bummer about the hood fit though. What kit is this? It looks like one that I'd be interested in building. David G.
