  1. I just bought my lifetime subscription. Easy-Peasy, just follow the link in Gregg's post above and it takes you to a Pay Pal page and it's only $150.00 rather than $200.00. The way I see it, that's about four years of issues at the current $6.50 cover price. Not a bad deal. David G.
  2. Nicely Done! Everything looks clean and tight. David G.
  3. Gas cans- Racing fuel no less. And a shelf to put them on. Tucked safely in the corner. That's all for now. David G.
  4. Sweet little trailer Brad! David G.
  5. I do remember that one now, most impressive. I ultimately plan to build something like that. The Fujimi one that I have is nice but it's just too small. I want to create "scenes" than take photos... like you did there. David G.
  6. Thanks Gary. Thank you Curtis. The nice thing about these tool and equipment sets is working on them a piece at a time you can get a feeling of accomplishment without a large time investment. Thanks Brad. I remember all the detail you threw into your 1923 Ford Carny Wagon. A full diorama made by you would be mind-blowing. David G.
  7. Nicely Done! David G.
  8. Hello everybody. I have a couple more images to share with you. This (obviously) is the auto lift. I decided to paint the base plate with caution stripes. It just seemed to be the right thing to do. I also had some trouble with the decals on the left upright and had to print a set of my own to use. Well, there ya go! As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to comment. David G.
  9. Nice tidy build. The chassis overspray is well done too. David G.
  10. Thanks for the head's up Ron. I'm looking forward to seeing that when you get around to it. David G.
  11. It's not too bad, but I could do it better. Much of the paint has a texture rather like a vinyl top and I think it would take more work to polish it down than to strip and repaint it. Besides, I think it would look much better in a rich sapphire blue with a white interior. David G.
  12. I found this Jo Han 67 Toronado at the most recent Desert Scale Classic. It's actually a decent build. There is some damage to one of the hubcaps and front suspension but otherwise seems to be complete. I plan on tearing into this one as soon as I decide what color I want to paint it. David G.

Looks fantastic, excellent color and paintwork! David G.
  14. It came out nice, well worth the effort. David G.
  15. Thanks Rudy, I'm thinking about scratch building a larger garage bay once all the doo-dads are finished. In the mean time, I do have a Volksie Bug and a Meyers Manx. David G.
  16. I picked this one up a while ago and decided to start on it... finally. I managed to knock the garage together in just a couple of hours but there are a lot of tools and other kit included with this. There are several major items: auto lift, engine hoist, etc. My plan is to update this thread as I finish each of the various assemblies and tool groups. With the clear plastic enclosure, it will make a nice place to display all the tools and equipment that come in the kit. Once all the equipment is built and placed in the garage, there won't be much room for a car. Maybe Fujimi should have included a disclaimer. "Caution: May not be suitable for large American cars." Had I thought about it, I would have bought a second garage and built them joined together. Oh, well. As always, thanks for taking the time to look and please feel free to comment. David G.
  17. Beautiful work! Excellent paint, love the added detail. David G.
  18. Suh-Wheet! Excellent color choice. These old Mopars should always be done in bold! David G.
  19. Beautifully done! David G.
  20. In appreciation of all your kind words, here is a bonus photo of the Charger parked safely in my display case. Thanks again, David G.
