Ok, I'm in. I think. Feeling a little wishy-washy about it all, since I've not done one of these before. I started digging through the stash of broken, abandoned, and otherwise pitiful kits. I'm thinking one of these former disasters may lend itself to the project. Currently, I'm leaning with either the Mustang or the Porsche; Then again, perhaps the Alternomad might be a good candidate. Stay tuned, I hope ... Ford Candidate - Probably not ... The Mustang seems like a worthy candidate, and given it's proportion issues (old Revell kit), maybe I should start here. But then again, the old Porsche could be a good starting point - albeit the broken A pillars may be an issue. Or maybe not. I bought this behemoth for parts, but it looks kind of "spacey". The Alternomad. And this glue-bomb of an Aerovette. I'm currently leaning away from this one. So, this has, so far, been an exercise in indecision.

These are so cool. I may have to join in, but I don't think my talent matches the rest of you guys for what I've seen so far. Super creative stuff!

Question on the rules - are right-hand drive vehicles allowed? Or does the vehicle have to be USA-spec/ North American-spec only? Say I imported a minivan from Japan ....?

Oh, very nice indeed. Excellent work!

Man, oh Man - this is awesome work! I love the whole idea and have been watching your built. Very inspiring and creative!

Wow, this is just beautiful! -
I've never entered a community build before, not have I built a van. So, is this official - Vans / minivans are the them for the 2019 Cannonball Run? Sounds fun ..

I love it I think a companion would be cool w/ the double-bubble from the Futura or the '58 T-Bird, although both are probably too big for the Cobra body.

Why, oh why, has no mainstream company ever kitted this car in plastic? We'd all buy multiple copies! Beautiful work so far! -

Wow, that's excellent work! The first of these I've actually seen built. Nostalgic super cars and concept cars are so cool. -
Tamiya 1/24 Mazda Savanna RX-7 - 1st Generation Rotary Rocket

It is. 1985. Needs brake work at the moment, but I've not had a chance to take care of that. Overall, it's in good shape. 80k miles on the clock so far ... Your build of that kit is really clean. Beautiful work! -

Looking great! Thread hijack here: -
Nice to see one of these brutes built. You deserve kudos just for taking this kit on, let alone finishing it so very well. Nice work!

This is a work of art! Or should I say, a Work of Art. Absolutely brilliant work and I enjoyed seeing the WIP as well.
