  1. garage punk 66, I believe that the Amt 1970 Mustang Mach One was all stock for the funny car and the Amt 1969 Gas Rhonda Longnose Mustang wheel wells were a little enlarged. Members, please correct me if I am wrong here. Going on my 63-year-old memory!
  2. look for the paint topic from Cab driver, he paints the flame colors underneath first, then masks the flames. Then the black(Topcoat) and then then he peels the mask off != instant flames. Pm him
  3. Heather, your dad was one of the most unselfish, pleasant, respectful and humble men on here. He shared his techniques unselfishly to others. He showed us step by step how he did something on a model. His examples gave us life lessons on how we should act, speak and talk to each other on a regular basis. He will be missed! May God Bless and comfort you at this time. There is a lot of Rodger's work on this forum. Read it all !!!! It will be very healing!!!!!
  4. The power is out here in suburban Detroit, Mi again. This time they said it was 7 tornadoes from Friday am. How do you charge your EV then? Your go get gas with your gas car and then start your gas generator to charge up your Ev car? Simple answer!
  5. Les, could we make some of those supports that are "scrap" into side exhaust, i.e. like on Corvettes from the 1970's? That way when they are snipped off the 3d print they can be a model part rather than 'scrap"
  6. Picked up 18 nova wagons, a case of 71 VWs at my Waterford/ Clarkston Ollies on Dixie hwy. The store was ready for some additional kits to restock - D-50 Coke truck, 40 ford Coke , all at 12.99. They also had the 1957 Chevy Nomad 1/24 by Monogram, (get this, the new price on those only was 16.95 )( no thank you) so look in your Mich stores boys, restock is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Guys in addition to the models and paint, check the labeled" Spring" signs in the decorating/ closeout section! Good man cave stuff like Batman, Star Wars and Automotive themed stuff at 66 percent off at my 3 local hobby lobbies!
  8. Google photos from the Detroit Autorama about 2 or 3 years ago. A New Zealander built a replica like the real one. Can you size it off a picture? If not ask someone on here if they can measure their unbuilt kit for you!
  9. Zippi, you are a fast learner. Beautiful build and beautiful car. The clear orange hood set it off! Period Drag Gasser for sure. This should be in the Magazine! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I hate to say this, but these were not made for Ollies this time. It is an inventory dump of slow sellers to get them off the books of Round 2. The new fiscal year must have begun and the investment/management co (that owns 50% of stock) probably likes to cash out old slow selling models. How many guys here would have purchased any of these kits at full retail? see what I'm saying?
  11. the store in Clarkston, mi had the 63 chevy wagons and 64 ford Galaxie craftsman kits. same with the Ypsilanti, mi store
  12. Nice buy Geno! That's Franklin mint/ Danberry mint Quality and at good price! Excellent buy!
  13. ewetwo , you have a PM
  14. Yes, I remember those! sold in blister packs at Toys r us and Meijer, maybe, KB toys also. Bought 4 ET type/Style mags to use on 1/8th Monogram kits. THEY worked like a Kenner SSP car !Pull the rip cord and let her rip. Bet a lot of them got lost also! LOL
  15. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I think the last issue of the 1959 retractable was molded in Poland(said it on the box?), by Revell and boxed in the states. That leaves the status of where the mold is to Revell of Germany, Carrera-Revell USA, or Atlantis? Paging Mark or Tim Boyd for an answer!
  16. Sidney, Kris is a one-man operation not an amazon or Esty store. He doesn't have automated computer responses. He is old school. I think it would be best to contact a vender ahead of time to find out how long it is to ship and to see if it is in stock. Advance planning always helps. Patience is the key! If a guy makes Quality stuff, His stuff is always in demand!
  17. Thank you Can-Con for the telephone booth 3d info!
  18. Thats wild! sort of like "Bad Chad on Crack" (He Did the Green Goblin) kind of build! Excellent execution! I like it also!
  19. Yep, Vamach1 that's what I'm talking about!
  20. Thank you, Mobius! Now maybe the(later this year) 1960 Ford p/u and 1963 Ford P/u- Round 2 trucks will fit on the front for wrecker cab/ body swaps!
  21. YES, instead of putting these out for the public to buy they have now started auctioning these on line in their goodwill store! Oh well ,more money for charity works or corporate greed?
  22. Steve Goldman, I am thinking a little forward here.(2 to 5 years ahead). Could the telephone booth for TTT be made to download in 3-d, as a file to purchase in the future? Round 2 is leaving money on the table. I know you have a full plate to carry now (That is good news!). But if you offered a file to purchase and download it for customers, the cost of an injection mold goes away, and the customers who Pass on the cardboard version will purchase the file. ( if they want a plastic / resin 3-d version) It must be affordable to the consumer to do this and also have Round 2 Make money on it too!
  23. Thank you, Casey! It' s good to have you back here! hope all is well!
  24. The Granny hot rod is from Year/series7 episode 12. I believe it is on U-tube!
  25. I think parts of granny's hot rod are in the MPC Harry Bradley kit- Jolly Rodger?
