  1. A LOT of people keep stuff they don't need or will never use anymore. I myself try to eliminate as much junk as I can as we live in a smaller house, however I'm sure that if I look again and more often that I could find even more stuff to get rid of. I need to get off my butt and get rid of some car parts as well.
  2. I've driven Chevy trucks for almost 40 years, and this year I was ready for a change. Bought a new F-150 and I'm quite happy with it so far.
  3. I was able to get my Red Baron kit at a club meeting, still sealed and in the collector tin for $15, and it came out rather nice.
  4. Hmmm, interesting idea however I've been using my Xacto knife for years and it seems to work great for me. No need to add another tool to my bench.
  5. Very nice "cruiser" and I just love dem Mopars!
  6. I may have a couple of JoHan kits available at the DuPage show on Sunday
  7. Here's an ERTL Scout kit still sealed from way back when............................................
  8. A LOT of blame for the demise of the Toledo swap meet comes directly from the internet. Now vendors don't spend the money for gas, hotels, meals, tables, when they can sell on the internet therefore cutting their expenses way back. Back in the early 2000's the place was jammed with vendors, ten years later not so much.
  9. Michael, you can use BMF after you've painted & cleared the body, or many modelers are now using the BMF under the primer and using some lacquer thinner on a Q-tip to remove the primer and colors after each coat. While I've never tried this method, I will be this fall as I've seen the results from other builders and it looks great.
  10. I see that God's been painting again. Awesome!
  11. I've used Spaz-Stix Mirror Chrome spray on both plastic and resin parts with great results. I recently sold my air brushes and compressor since I haven't used it in many years. I like the convenience of "rattle cans," and I can get a good finish also.
  12. Wow, that is awesome as it's been awhile since I saw a pin stripper at work.
  13. Bob, You need to post your contact info as some of the readers would like to get in touch with you 'bout your products. Thanks.
  14. I got to see the new movie SULLY this afternoon with my better half. We don't get out to the movies too often and Tom Hanks did an awesome job of portraying Chesley Sullenberg.
  15. Steven, that interior detail is just BEAUTIFUL as you did a really great job on it. BTW, there is a third set of seat belts in the rear seat.
  16. Very nice!
  17. Bob's Paint & Kustom Khrome sure gets around. And with lots of great colors for your air brush and great chrome plating service also.
  18. Guess I'll have to fabricate some parts myself, oh well???
  19. I have had one of those Coronets built up for quite awhile, and hoping to build a couple more in the future. However I'm also hoping to build a lot of car kits in the future as well. We'll see??? I just love dem Mopars!
  20. The JoHan Sox & Martin Pro Stock '71 'Cuda has a really nice tunnel ram and carbs for the Hemi engine.
  21. And here I thought that you worked from home, no?
  22. Have you considered seeing your back doctor and maybe getting an epidural? Or maybe an MRI and discussing your options with him? I've had back problems in the past that kept me out of work for four months. I was able to blame it on the job and get workman's comp, as well as all my medical bills paid, and a nice settlement as well. I still have back problems occasionally and I'm trying to avoid back surgery, however I believe the doc would have laser surgery done, which is supposedly a piece of cake. So he says, and also a good friend of mine who has had it done and he enjoys golfing weekly. I also heard that the incision to insert the laser is small enough to be covered with a band aid.
  23. Are you sure that's Walmart"s display or was it made by the Coca Cola distributor? Most of the time the distributor sets up the displays.
  24. I hope to see you there Ken as I'll be shopping, and if I don't find something I don't really need I can always buy some Hot Wheels cars for my favorite grandson.
  25. The tip of the Exacto blade could poke a hole in the decal where the toothpick will not.
