Traditional 1929 Ford Woody Wagon Hot Rod
bobthehobbyguy replied to Dennis Lacy's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Great project. I've have one of these as a stalled project. The molded frame has been an issue. Never thought about using the 29 roadster fenders. Definitely will be watching. -
I would say a group thank you to all who respond is appropriate. If people make the effort to.make a comment then it should be acknowledged In the same fashion. To me responding to each is overkill. Hopefully when people respond they will give some feedback on what they like about it. As far as using the thank you tag remember it works two ways. If you respond with a thank you tag you may just find that's how they will respond to a post and you may get no more than a like tag. Just a thought.

I would say responding to a group of posters is better.

Yup. Prep work is the foundation for every build. Especially if you intend to enter contests or craftsmanshipship is important to you. The basics are the most Important along with making sure every piece is perfect.

Definitely a cool project. As far as the purists models are for building how you want to. There are no rules. A unbuilt model is just a blank canvas to work with.- 220 replies

My vote is choice 1. Given the green I think the inner rim would look gold. Just a thought.- 220 replies

I think it would be helpful if you could show the green you are using as it's how to judge how the wheel color would look with the rims colors. Love this project. I have a Johan pikes peak tornado( missing a chassis) and am considering doing something similar.- 220 replies

’72 Dodge Demon Drag Racer 1/25 scale
bobthehobbyguy replied to AmericanMuscleFan's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
As I see it you have to choose the material that best suits what is being built. Really don't see brass would be better than styrene in this case. The grill is very impressive. -
It's going to look great in paint. You are right not rushing to get to paint you need to make sure everything is right first.
-
Nicely done.

Sometimes you really got to laugh at the silliness of people. Ah the power of social media. Near riot over spoiled food. You can't make this stuff up. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/state/texas/article272082417.html
