  1. Although there could be a logical explanation , you have to remember how illogical the world is this. I think that this is a case of two self centered individuals. One who thought nothing of blocking the car. The other being impatient and impulsive.
  2. Nice work. What are you going to use for the blower belt.
  3. Nice looking paint. Great color.
  4. Looking good.
  5. The blocked car's driver was probably late to their anger management class.
  6. Great project. I don't think you need to add the truck. The focus is the broken plane and that's the story being told with the diorama.
  7. I got rid of paid programming in 2014. Occasionally I watch my sister's house and am challenged to fins something worthwhile to watch. All of the programming went to "reality" because it's cheap to produce. Most of the auto related programming means shooting a bunch of material and then editing it down. That costs money to do. Now they are getting greedy and going to reruns which is cheap and there are no production costs. If enough people would cancel it would get their attention. Sadly most will shrug and accept the dreck. They've got too greedy with excessive commercials and producing cheap programming for premium prices.
  8. Love the great step by step. I learn so much from threads like this.
  9. Love it.
  10. Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies.
  11. Memory is the first thing to go, "uh what where we talking about?".
  12. Looking good.
  13. North, South, east, and west are all points on the compass.
  14. Cool idea. Hope you can make it work.
  15. Once again another ev thread ends up with the chicken little syndrome on how civilization is going to collapse because of evs. Given that I think ev topics need to be put in the off topic section. No matter how they start the threads all recap the same things ad nauseum. Give it a rest guys.
  16. First off at this point going all electric is not feasible. However those that are getting rich from it don't care. Most of the negative points have been covered and it seems pointless to continuing the conversation. If you think about it when the automobile replaced the horse it wasn't a very practical solution. There were barely roads and limited fuel supplies.
  17. Stunning. Love seeing the step by step process.
  18. I agree. It all depends on what you are expecting in your building experience. It's fun to apply my skills today to older kits. There is not just one way to enjoy the hobby.
  19. What type of kits have you built in the past? That will also determine if the Atlantis kits are Match for you.
  20. Manufacturers have paint systems. The primer , color, and clear coats are designed to be compatible. With one manufacturer you are given recoat times for when to respray. You may get away occasionally with mixing paints but eventually it's going to go south. Also model paints are designed to be friendly with the kit plastics. Paint formulas change and plastic formulas change and there is no guarantee that the paints will play nice.
  21. Another disadvantage is it is way too thick. You will lose a lot of detail. You're better to stick with hobby paints.
