I have been following this often heated discussion. Part of the issue is some of the discussion is too general. As pointed out Duplicolor has more than one paint system. So if you're had good luck with it which system are you using. The same goes for Rustolum. There are different spray nozzles.

Accuracy for some is measure with an micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe.

It is. Scott built it in a series. He is the publisher editor of the new magazine. -
This one seems to be fighting you. It doesn't look like crazing to me it looks like the paint dried before it hit the model. What are you thinning the Tamiya paint with? What thinner to paint ratio are you using? You might want to use more thinner. How close are you spraing to the model. That is the other possibility if it's too far back. I'd wet sand and try thinning the paint more.

When will we be seeing issue 225

That's fine. If 3 months is a better cycle then do that. However change the magazine to be a quarterly and do it like clockwork. Saying the magazine is bimonthly when it isn't is confusing and creates the impression is running late. -

You can accept the challenges of life and become a better person or use those challenges as an excuse to do nothing.

What baffles me was the decision to OK the mission when there were known problems. It's different if there was an unanticipated problem while in space. The Challenger disaster happen because the o-rings failed because of a known weakness becuase of the cold. You'd think they would have been more cautious.

A couple of things. How long did you let the primer dry? Second if you can't fix the crazing I'd suggest doing a patina paint job. I've seen a few trucks done that way. I know that may not be what you want to do but it's better than buying another kit. Wow I'm impressed it looks like you managed to save the body. Nicely done. .

I see this as a good thing. More coverage of the hobby is great. There are limits to what can be put in an issue. Besides a little completion is healthy as it keeps everyone on their toes.
