  1. If you're interested in detail photos, try posting a request on FChat. There are people with amazing knowledge and resources over there. Perry
  2. That is really cool, and well done. I've wondered how these kits look built. Some of the earlier ones were less than 3D it seemed. Kinda flat and featureless. Perry
  3. I've got this Teapot kit as well as a Breadvan trans-kit, a 330 LMB trans-kit, and a Herb Deeks Lancia D50, and a couple other old resin kits. Perry
  4. Nice model. I like that look. I think the pillars you're chroming are C pillars as the B pillar is still in between the doors, just doesn't extend to the roof. I used to bring my building stuff with me on my monthly trips to the U.P. Also rebuilt my TR6 gearbox on a motel room floor in Escanaba once. Perry
  5. Very pretty. Really like the dark blue. It’s a ‘74 with the rubber overrides removed. I’ve had it since ‘77. It’s pretty stock except an S2 cam, higher compression, and SU’s. It’s a dependable driver. That’s my son driving it with his girlfriends son. Perry
  6. Nice garage picture. The Challenger really does make the 6 look tiny. I really like mine.
  7. Thanks. They look realistic. Perry
  8. Great detail on all aspects. One detail I have to ask about. How do you get the wheels, nuts, studs, to look so good? Perry

    USPS Pinto.

That really is nice. My late father in law was a mail carrier. I’d really like to do one for my wife. She’d really like that. Perry
  10. Traded with Khils, Kevin, and he was great. I had trouble on my end completing the deal and he was patient til I could make something work. I am still looking for sprint car tires for him. Perry
  11. I used this kit to make a '67 coupe for my son. He has the 1:1 version. Your color and ours looks similar, Acapulco Blue. It is finished, but I can't find any pictures of it finished. Perry
  12. Seemed too obvious. Overthought it, and seemed the picture was in Europe, Germany, I thought, "No, can't be." Perry
  13. I have some of the Revival 1/20 scale metal kits. A 156 Sharknose signed by Phil Hill, an Alfa Muletto P3, and a Mercedes. Nice wire wheels, good detail. Nice kits. Perry
  14. Todays Japanese cars are too overwrought with the curves and such. I like simpler. Perry
  15. Nice model. Those old Starter kits are a bit simple but look good. What a driver line up. Perry
  16. Looks real nice. I know for me, I have problems when I rush things too. Especially paint. Perry
  17. No need to chuck the body. Try stripping first. You can probably get it off, and start over. One thing, try light coats. Let it dry thoroughly between. Perry
  18. Very nice. I hav3 this kit and may have to steal your ideas. How did you paint the hood medallion so nicely? How did you do the wood? Thanks, Perry
  19. Going to attempt a WIP. Here are some pictures of my start. It's a Lotus 79 World Champion kit from Tameo. I'm building Andretti's ride for a friend. The Chassis will be black but the silver is actually polished white metal. Nothing looks like metal more than... metal. Lots of PE and detail. Enjoy.
  20. Following this one. My son has an Acapulco Blue ‘67 coupe. His first car. I got a resin coupe conversion and built his car. The PE is really good too. Perry
  21. Looks nice. Saw a bunch on Trans-Am cars last weekend at Road America. The Javelins were the class of the field, fast. Perry
  22. Very cool. What color will it be? Perry
  23. Do they ever have aircraft kits? I wouldn't mind getting some of what's been shown, but I don't have an Ollies near me. Perry
  24. Got my half of the trade with Les, and was very pleased. He even threw in a couple of extras, much appreciated. Would like to trade with you again if we can. Thanks Les. Perry
  25. Got the car right, missed the year. Perry
