  1. Not a bad piece in that collection , Robert ! Nice and cleanly built for sure . I miss all of the "oddball" offerings from Jo-Han (et al.) : 4 doors , sedans , wagons , hearses ; Oldsmobiles , Cadillacs , De Sotos , Chrysler ... *sigh*
  2. 1975 was the last year for a 'real' Road Runner : - Still had "RM" as its V.I.N. prefix - Still on the B-body platform - Still available with big block power ( albeit , the 400-4 ... and single exhaust [ at least on California models ] because of the catalytic converter ) 1976-1980 were packages versus a separate model ; and they were based upon the then-new F-body ( * note : MPC kind of dropped the ball regarding the '76 Road Runner --- they slapped the name on the 1976 Fury [still a B-body ] annual ! ) , and didn't release an F-body kit or promo until 1977 .
  3. What's not to like ? That has got to be one of the coolest , neatest 'rods I've seen in a while . Good call on the Hudson engine !
  4. Redlines disappeared after the 1969 model year . Now , some 1970 models were shown with redlines ; however , those are early-production and / or prototype models . I've seen pinstripe white walls on 383 and 440 powered 1970 models ; not sure if the 15" wheel / tyre was still equipped as such , as I've only seen raised white letters after 1969 .
  5. 100% new tooling , with options galore : - Decals for 396 and 454 engines - Period-correct "Day Two" parts ( headers , 'Fly Eye' air cleaner , Cal Customs 12 bolt cover , sidepipes , Spyders wheels , etc. ) - T.H.-400 and 4 speed option
  6. I was surprised to see that '74 9C1 as well . LASO tested -- in 1976 -- the (ill-fated-at-least-in-California) Dart and Valiant 'A38' models . What killed them in California was that the 200hp 360 was choked-down to 175hp with a retarded cam , single exhaust , and a stupid catalytic converter --- whereas 49 state emissions models were free from the restrictive exhaust , providing a true , cat-free , dual exhaust , and a "normally-phased" cam . But , I digress ... LASO used those Novas for years ! They also held onto them for as long as possible . The 9C1 Malibu ( "A-Special" body ) replaced it until its demise in c.1984 .
  7. If I had the financial means , I would go broke buying the killer kits that you guys produce ! Here's a 1974 9C1 Nova , the first generation of such --- and one-of-seventeen ! https://www.stevesnovasite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=635105
  8. *Sidebar* --- Back-Up lamps weren't required until 01/01/1965 . That's why some early-production 1965 models (e.g. , "1964 1/2 " Mustang) are sans the lamps .
  9. One of the most-"common" 2-speed differential units was the Hone-O-Drive ; a gear-splitter with its own , separate shifter . A number of Motion modified cars were equipped with them . I grew up about a mile from Hone-O-Drive's skunkworks !
  10. 1966 , in their original lineup ( no Grace Slick -- this is Signe Andersen . Slick was still doing the Great Society thing with her cousin ) . Note that "Skip" Spence is the drummer here , too . He went on to form Moby Grape in '67 or so. Without further ado :
  11. Has anyone -- any kit manufacturer -- made a Toyota Stout ? I would LOVE to have one of those !
  12. Correct amundo . The Coronet name stuck around through 1976 ( Plymouth's Satellite name changed to Gran Fury for 1975 ) ; however , I maintain that the B-bodies' engine compartments did change for 1975 .
  13. FWIW , the latest issue of the 1969 Barracuda includes : - Crossram Intake for the (absent) 426 Hemi - Hurst Dual-Gate shifter and its console (though the kit has a 383 / 4-speed --- but the AMT '67 and '68 had a T-Flite backing the Hemi , right ? ) Basically , it would appear that Round2 unblocked some of the moulds which were blocked-off since who knows when . EDIT / ADDENDUM : Nice to see that Dual-Gate and its console included --- those'll find their way into the interior of my 1968 Hemi Dart .
  14. 1974 Charger vs. 1975 Monaco , both are B-bodies :
  15. Don't forget : 1975-1978 B-bodies also had engine bays that were redesigned ---- don't use the Charger's 'bay , as it'll be incorrect . Also , 1974 was the last year for the 8 3/4 differential ; a Dana 44 would "look" like a Chrysler 9 1/4 , which was the former's replacement when the 360 four barrel , 400 four barrel , and 440 were the engine .
  16. GY3 ( Citron Yella Dodge ; Curious Yellow Plymouth --- named after an "adult" movie ! ) is one of my favourite colours ! Nice looking WS23U !
  17. I think that the updated one looks nice -- better than some of the poodle poop I've seen around here -- but it's not my flavour , either . However , I'd rather see the car modified rather than see it going to the crusher .
  18. Another option regarding the grilles on the bumper / lower-valance part : carefully sand-away the backside of the grilles' sections until the recesses are gone . That's the most realistic way to 'correct' any , for instance , grille . Yes , there are exceptions ; but , for the most part , the elimination of that 'backing' is the way to go . Keep-up the great work !
  19. The Monza (and its corporate siblings) were known as H-Special , whereas the Chevrolet-only Vega was simply H-Body . I wish that I could've bought my friends' dad's '75 Vega coupe ( think : not the liftback body style ; more like a hardtop ) . It needed a lot of work , but was complete and operational .
  20. その4ドアセダンへのその変換で素敵な仕事! インテリアの計画は何ですか?
  21. Wonder if it's got Lidocaine in it ? That member of the "'cain' family" received O.T.C. approval a few years ago ( I've had the prescription stuff for a few years as well . It's a little strong than the O.T.C. preparations -- 4% on O.T.C. , 5% on the prescription stuff ) . I use Salonpas [sp] roll-on pain relief on my lumbar and cervical regions , and it works wonderfully ; just takes that grinding , pulsating edge off .
  22. 1969 was the last model year that redline tyres were used on factory-produced cars ( or , at least Chryslers ) , so their presence in the all-new-tool 1970 Charger is a bit of a , um , surprise . I've never built the Daytona --- never even seen its contents --- so this is the first that I'm hearing about the NASCAR (et al.) version .
  23. Perhaps the special , sans skid-plate , '65 FX cars' K-members were painted a Zinc Chromate Primer ? That would be a yellow colour .
