  1. That's what mums - "queens" - do with their babies. Felines - whether big cats ( Cougars, et al. ) or small cats ( our "domestic" companions ) - are clean by nature. They eliminate as many traces of their presence as possible, which includes burying scat and urine ; or, in the case of a queen , grooming her babies until they are capable of performing that on their own - including the ritualistic hand, face, and ear grooming which they partake in after eating anything. (BTW, notice how they shake their head when taking the first bites ? That's a hard-wired compulsion which emulates the tearing of flesh of their prey).
  2. Coupla my favourites , in no order-of-favour :
  3. Available now !!! 1973-1976 Dodge Dart Plymouth Duster 3D Printed Grille for 1:25 MPC Model Kit | eBay
  4. Here's a NOT A.I. map for youse :
  5. He'd mentioned to me via our messages that he won't be listing them until after NNL-East.
  6. I was admonished to delete a forwarding statement in another post regarding the 'tear-ifs' - a P.M. from one of the admins . I obliged. Apparently it's open season now ?
  7. I wonder as to why Moebius has that addendum (for the lack of the proper term) attached only on the 1970 Ford F-350 Ramp Truck ? Must be because of its pending arrival status vs. the kits that are already on terra firma...
  8. Played trumpet on "So You Want to Be a Rock and Roll Star" - studio and live at the Monterey Pop Festival '67
  9. I love the BBS "lace" (et alia) rims, too. Very popular in the 1980s, esp. on the German models (BMW, predominately). There were a few '60's and '70's American cars with them , too. Classy look.
  10. 1972 Swinger ( LH23G2B307811 ) which I bought for $800 in August 1989. Factory EV2 Hemi Orange , white interior; 318 / 904 , and a host of options. Eventually its 318 was rebuilt and upgraded : 340/360 'J' heads; 9.5:1 (static) pistons, cam with more lift and longer-than-stock duration (nothing wild) , 360 two barrel intake with a 2 Bbl. carb from a '72 400 ; headers (lots of fun to install !) with provision for the "cold start" heat riser. 904 was rebuilt with heavy duty everything; deeper capacity oil pan; Trans-Go shift kit , too. Rear diff was out of a '74 Duster 360 I found in the salvage yard ( oh, just to imagine what that car - in that condition - would bring today ! ), which was equipped with 3.21 / Sure Grip. Upgraded the brakes - the factory 4 piston setup was trouble prone , and rotors were obsolete ! A '75 Dart gave its superior single piston calipres and other necessary wares to the cause.
  11. Motor Wheels' Spyder rims (1968-1973)
  12. UPDATE ! I received an email from A Few Sprues Loose regarding the '73-'74 Dart Sport conversion parts. Here's photos of what he provided (see below). He also mentioned upgraded grilles for the '73-'76 Duster !
  13. I second the Tamiya aerosols . The aforementioned Gloss Aluminum is sans metallic ; however, Tamiya's Pearl Clear or Metallic Clear work great to represent a realistic, in-scale metallic finish.
  14. The lack of brake calipres -complete, rebuilt - is definitely a headscratcher. I wonder if its the piston bore size ? Are the same calipres for the 1983-1986 ; 1987-1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe ? Same 2,3 litre turbo engine, on the same platform... EDIT Answered my own question (see link). 1987-1988 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe : 1987 FORD THUNDERBIRD 2.3L 140cid L4 Turbocharged Caliper | RockAuto 1979 Mustang with 2,3 Turbo : 1979 FORD MUSTANG 2.3L 140cid L4 Turbocharged Caliper | RockAuto I'm sure that you've done your homework - I'm just sharing this info for everyone to chew on. EDIT # 2 And then there's these, complete with 1979 part number prefix ( "D9" = 1979 ) 1979-1993 Mustang Brake Calipers - National Parts Depot
  15. Title edited to reflect the other version of the Revell 1997 ad seq. F-150 - the Lightening iteration which was recently released under the Fast & Furious series, will have the very same wipers I'm looking for. Thanks.
  16. Lovely pair of girls ! Are they related ?
  17. My friend Marc's cat's brood. Her name is "Metro" ; so-called because he rescued her at the Metro L.A. Transit Yard where he works. Chatons au Metro are 6 weeks old ; three boys (the red tabbies) and one girl ( tortie ) .
  18. "It is April, right daddy ? Then why's it so cold ?! Fifty-four , overcast, and breezy isn't springtime !"
  19. Absolutely - within reason, of course. I've seen a '72 Polara Washing State Police model with a power seat and some other "regular" Polara appointments. All of its Fleet Codes were separate ; itemised - two tags worth. Its V.I.N. was , IIRC, DL41U2D vs. the Police models' DK prefix.
  20. I agree completely. A good walk warms up the ol' vacuum tubes in (what's left of) my brain - gets the ol' vision up, and kicks-up my hearing .
  21. I'd venture to say that this is the oldest kit :
  22. Sweet find ! Love the vintage licence plates, too (can you keep those as legal, on-highway plates ?). The 16" rims are slick for these. Less expensive than buying those Michelin 390mm TRX tyres !
  23. I've seen that car in person a few times ( at a Chrysler show in Van Nuys ) , and for whatever reason, I didn't remember its blue interior ( haha ). Hopefully it'll be there in May - I haven't seen it in a few years. [ BTW , I didn't post that info in an attempt to bust your chops or anything ]
