  3. Very cool!
  4. Beautiful car and model. Well done.
  5. Very nicely done pair of models. Loving the intricacy of the gun model. Well done!
  6. Excellent job!
  7. That's one boxing, but don't pay that much; you can find much better deals on it. For example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/314603304021?hash=item493fd17455:g:ckMAAOSwwplkaRmf&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwPlhjaT3%2BDDdFffDWC3jfAKih5RVK86KRb6Ou%2BbGF4cT4XxTHAnQSicmlx0pQzK6EjWQs1RYNkKm5Y29mIKj5fajWLGes4OKG6mr8h4S78pkFVovu1M1wQk3mfiFtKunHAz5Wgj3egvXhKIW8SrIFGRrRjHJVck1Jko%2FHcb5M9NFVP3wZ4DRqBd9W4vbtBh%2FjHJCRneNImBDuQqD%2Fik2uwrwX%2BZHOciGwAbL5H2fiX2AlFoSi2CgWF9ddCJVrNf9wA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4Tj--6IYg This one shows some nice sprue shots: https://www.ebay.com/itm/234997480225?hash=item36b6f0fb21:g:nHIAAOSwv05kUsEs&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwJ3CbnSFt6Z%2FKk97SkH9%2FZpHATB%2BaZCAgS20eYOrLOtI3VBVmeC%2FvweL2oVHDpIuFf4Z51mho5yQWVWqKJiOXUxukIKlt2lM0HYp7mEzkmlkKUJ3E50q4xNzQOJfb1sCori9%2BQnLfilRptRzViMsWM3961yw69Pn8gge%2BPPKP29m%2BB0DvvQQv7RwIDB191S84zaY5EN9Co1Wa%2FtLN6G9t3yNjKtbOO1Vcyr5yS87RiYtTRAHxsBf%2Fiy2oFQbtLfODQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-jrse-IYg You may post in the "Wanted" or "Trading Post" section of the forum to see if a member might have an extra kit to sell or trade. Good luck!
  8. Agreed, it has a nice scale-correct appearance IMHO. Pricey, but factoring in the cost (or even availability) of plating these days, it might not be so bad viewed as cost-per-model basis. It's an impressive finish for sure.
  9. Fun stuff, and really cool example of back-to-basics model building for the pure fun of it. For me, it's a few of the Tom Daniel kits from Monogram, but even more so the wonderful caricature kits from Revell by Dave Deal. Deal's Wheels FTW!
  10. NICE! OK, now share with us the paints used, please?! ( The gold and the engine red ) Beautiful look.
  11. Gorgeous color, clean build...perfect!
  12. This was fun to watch come together. Beautiful model full of perfect period-rod touches, and the weathered finish is the crowning touch. Nicely done!
  13. Oooooh, that creamy off white looks SO good on that body. What color/paint is that?
  14. Excellent work!
  15. Neat find, and I'm glad to see you building it! Will be watching...
  16. That was unexpected! I'm digging the unique look it gives the car. Creative thinking here, so carry on...
  17. Agreed, but that Mercury is one of my favorite early 60s body styles of all, and you get bonus points for one of my favorite color schemes for said Merc. Beautiful!
  18. Very impressive modeling!
  19. Nice builds! I've always had a soft spot for the Paddy Wagon myself. Very cool of you to add the garage display, it really ups the visual impact. Well done.
  20. Just to be sure....it does as I suspected. Needs trimming at the wheel wells due to different body side contours. Simple fix!
  21. Should, may have to trim the pan a bit to get the best fit. I have been working off and on with a '65 from the 90s with all its goofs, and the chassis I'm going with is from the AMT '66 Olds 442, as they were once plentiful and cheap. Lots of interchangeability prospects, consider '66 Olds, Lindberg 67 Olds, AMT and Revell 65 and 67 Chevelles (both stock and pro street available), Lindberg (now AMT) 66 Chevelle, aforementioned 66 GTO, and so on. Chevy pans will need to swap out trans cross member for the correct B-O-P style.
  22. That color is perfect for this body style! Good choice. Is this resin body based off an old JoHan kit, and is it still available?
  23. Thanks once again for the excellent photo coverage and sharing your work with us. GREAT pics! Very cool that there were record-breaking numbers, and is it just me or is the overall quality just insanely high these days?! The bar is raising every year.
  24. Really cool color choice. Looking good.
