  1. That body really responded well to the chop! It now has a really great sense of "flow", that sense of moving even when sitting still. I'm noticing some swooping body lines and details on this I had overlooked before! Nicely done, and great color too!
  2. Very interesting info, and thanks for the relevant pictures!
  3. I'm curious, roughly when did this type of ramp become available?
  4. It has a certain attitude in its stance that just smacks of "Hot Rod". Very cool. No chopped top, no anything over-done, like anyone might have built on a budget in the 60s or early 70s. I dig it!
  5. Perfect color combination for a big Chevy, and your attention to detail is right on. VERY well done.
  6. Nice collection of ponies here! Well done.
  7. Looks great! I did the '37 panel truck once in almost the exact same color scheme, just not as shiny! Well done.
  8. That really came out nice! This deserves a diorama setting to finish the story...
  9. Good review, really nicely cast model with crisp engraving. My initial response when I saw the box top was " a double-decker bus propelled by giant beer kegs", so yes, I want one.
  10. Just mark and cut with a small hacksaw, just be sure to support the sheet well as near the edge of your workbench as possible and cut slowly.
  11. Oh yeah, this will be fun...
  12. The Monogram/Revell 1/24 '65 'vette is my go-to for a nice 1/24 BBC engine (396), and is pretty common, and available in stock or street machine dressing.
  13. Looking good, will be watching for this one "Under Glass"!
  14. Gorgeous!
  15. Looking good; anxious to see more! I really like this body style.

    Show Rod

I love just how well that 58 rear works here. Cool stuff!
  17. Interesting approach, and appears to be working nicely! I'm working on one of these as well, but opted to remove the side trim completely and modify my bumpers to more closely resemble the cheaper body styles. Can't wait to see your results! Following along...
  18. Sharp Elky! Well done.
  19. This kit gets beat up on a lot, but as you've shown, it can build quite nice. Good job!

    T - Touring

    NICE! Very cool rod.
  21. I was loving this build based on your color choice alone (which is gorgeous on a '57) but your attention to detail and clean build really put it over the fence! VERY well done.
  22. A long while back I did one as a low-buck home-brew kind of racer, I think this body just hot rods beautifully. If you want to take a look:
  23. Very cool look! Well done.
  24. Those are real beauties! I especially like the blue and white one. Well done.
  25. Will be following this one, and I know you'll do it justice!. That's a crisp looking body, and should really make for a smooth replica. These '63s are near and dear to me because my first real, drive-able car was a '63, though a Biscayne.
