You could also look for the Bill Elliot Museum If still active (His son Chase is Rookie Of The Year for 2016 so likely IS) They might even have a few of those cars in the Collection Melling did not fully buy the team from the Elliot Brothers He did sponser them though In Fact he offered them a ONE Race deal. But a race or so later they could not afford to repaint the car and left his decals on This lead him to full time sponsership When he left Bill drove for Junior Johnson/Budweiser But they did not have the success expected Bill last drove for Ray Everingham in Dodges I Do not remember who he was with between Johnson & Everingham

OK ON those MPC/AMT BF Goodrich hollow tires They started in Late 70's 78 or 79, and ran thru the 80s BUT Those in the Omni.Chargers and Toyotas are Smaller than those in the Camaros & Trans Ams!!! I have versions of the Charger (Red 2.2) and MANY T/A's (K.I.T.T) and an Indy Pace car 82 Camaro so I do know that I am correct on the tire sizes One thing I did find The Original issue of AMT's Ecto-1a from Ghostbusters 2 shows T/A Radials on the Actual car, but the kit has the Hollow Goodyears tires They are slightly larger in diameter and a better fit for the build, but...... I believe Chief Joseph makes the correct BFG's for the Ecto-1a But as I can not afford to buy any, I do not know how acurate they are I narrowed a set of the hollow Goodyears from the kit and removed the lettering to make BFG's for mine

I have 5 of the cars from the series Or DID HAVE them 27 Lincoln Cabriolet/Roadster, 28 Lincoln Pheaton, Both 32 Chrysler Cabriolet/Convertible/Roadster, & Pheaton and the 32 Chevy My Lincon Convertible/Roadster was an Early 70's MPC re-issue Connisure Classics having ONLY the Stock building option and Parts. (NO Gangbuster Parts) This is also so far the only kit Not re-issued For the most part the 2 Chrysler kits included teh SAME Gangster parts only differing in the body and interior parts I hsd Both Gangbuster & Bloody Mama issues of the Pheaton/4dr The Gangbuster issue was molded in black, Bloody Mama kit in White Bloody Mama was a Movie tie in kit for Ma Barker's gang YES the movie title was 'Bloody Mama' That kit had the decals sheet with the Jewel case & Suitcase Cash

So far, ONLY the Woman and other parts from the 27 Lincoln Roadster/Cabriolet have Not included in a re-issue And the Chevy Cabriolet/Roadster Lost those parts in favor of Hop-Up/Hot-Rod parts The Chrysler, and Lincoln Pheaton have included all the Gangbuster parts since the AMT Connisure Classics issues done but Ertl Also at least the Lincoln Peaton was re-issued in the Gangbusters box are as part of the Buyer's Choice program (or was that a regular issue just limited??) The only thing was that the Chrysler kits did Not include the decals for the Jewelery case or Suitcase with Cash All other parts were there, Standing and sitting figures, Safe, Guns, Hand Grenades, Knives, etc Same with the Pheaton, Booze bottles, and cases for them, Violin case, Guns, etc And, Yes, I have the Re-issues with the parts

Not sure of weight spec's But Military Vehicles ARE offered in 1/25 as PAPEr MODELS Look for GPM, Orlik, PK Grafika, and others I have a US Half-Track and an Opel Blitz that can be a Box van Ambulance or stake bed. Also Several Different versions of the US Deuce & Half and Older Studebaker Army trucks are out there Stakebed, Tanker, Semi Cab, etc There is also a DUKW available, but I have never found one to buy The FORD Amphibian Jeep is also available And different vehicles from other armies too

Would The OLD MPC Suburbanite Snow tire be a good replacement They were not 100% correct for the Jeep kits they were included in, but, Are narrower than the kit tires And have a smaller diameter

I would almost say that the figure on the left in the pic of 3 was Jed Clampett from Beverly Hillbillies I have an OLD set of Mayberry figures I believe that Andy started out as an Abe Lincoln!! Aunt Be had a Cake in her hands

I have one too Also Rangoon I had to repair the frame on that one I got it lines up then also added a Pin through it to make sure it would hold and stay I did the reverse on removing promo tires I placed them Axle end down, and pressed on the tire to pop it off. Softening in warm water might have helped a little I also have the 61 & 62 Galaxie Convertibles in Rangoon The 62 did not need any more that the 63 But the 61 almost needs a new body!!!

I saw 1 F150 4x4. They had the AMT 66 Olds 442 as well All others were Weird Oh's and a few Military

As far as I understand, 1/2 Ton, 3/4 Ton & 1 ton have More to do with Suspension (Springs & Shocks) Engine & Transmission, than with vehicle Length> Am I wrong?? Long Box Pickups were Also 1/2 Ton (At least after 67) So, This Suburban is Correct on the Shortbox chassis?? That was my question. Suburban was lengthened with the 67 model year Does it match the Long-box Fleetside?? A member on Scale Firehouse built a 70 Suburban using the Fleetside kit. If this is correct, I can also make a few 67-72 Suburban's as I have SEVERAL of those pick ups for parts and a couple extra Blazers too

Actually, Don't be surprised that the Tow hitch from the 65 is Included! Remember, It looks like this is just a Modified re-issue of that kit All 3 pickups Are the same kit Just different Bed, and details Interior is Identical (no updated upholstery) in the 64 & 65's I have!!!!

I built the Original issue of this wagon. I do Not remember any decals other than maybe license plates and stripes As I watched M*A*S*H at the time, I would have remembered any "Packo's" labels

I to Love this kit. I do Hope to be able to eventually get a few (even One will be great) I am thinking it will likely have the 64-66 Pickup chassis, engine, suspension. BUT were they the same size as the Shortbox that kit represents?? ie wheelbase & over all length?? I know the 67-72 was longer and likely matched the Long Box pickups I have seen one built using a Longbox Fleetside I know the 72 Blazer is actually shorter in length & wheelbase than the 72 GMC Shortbox kit I have!! Are those rear doors just separate pieces or actually hinged??

I am not 100% sure on this, but Grafting the front clip of the AMT 60 Pickup to the Revell 66 Suburban Should give you a good looking (Correct?) 60 Suburban The 60 is the same basic shape & design as the 64-66 series to my eye at least!! Got to find the 60 I started way back when first issued!! I have an open re-issue showing the Original Annual Long-box. (I was Very angry they did that as I wanted the Longbox!!)

Suburbans did Not go 4dr till 73!! 67-72's were 3 door with theSecond door only on the right!!! Stretched (Ambulance/Hearse?Special Use) versions Could have additional side doors, But.... They would NOT end up in Public hands very often!!

I do see one Minor typo in there The Arm rests for the rear bench seat are called out reversed The assembly for the right side is called Left, etc It will be easy to correct in building. Just look at the angle of the lower mount to see which side it mounts to!!! I too HOPE I can get one, (or more) of this kit

Same here I have had plans for Ambulances seen on Adam-12 & Emergency since the shows were originally On! They Crashed one of those Suburbans TWICE on Emergency!!!!

What about the "Mail Truck" or 'Phone Booth' The latter at least Would sell How many are still waiting for the Touch-Tone Terror Just for the Phone Both out of it??? I have a Mail Truck but it is Incomplete! I wanted but Never got the Phone Both

I would LOVE to be able to fill in the missing Desert Race series kits I missed BUT... Little to NO $$ and the tooling for Most lost makes that Impossible!! The 'Bird above looks Nice!!
