  1. Kewl!
  2. Oh, looking forward to this one.
  3. I thought that was the case recently here as well, but there was a difference, mirror vs non mirror. When I DO find that, I ask if they will honor the price on all, and usually they do, but not always. I have been told before that they base the price on the purchase, stock number.
  4. Very nice!
  5. Yes sir you have my attention.
  6. Oh, and to be honest, I have learned to "tune out" any ads. I forget they are there unless something like this conversation reminds me. ? I would recommend, changing the cookie settings on your PC, and using some of the tools previously recommended.
  7. Not sure how it works, but I believe the ads are driven by profiling. I have many times seen ads for products or services that I had recently searched information on , so I may not see the same ads you do. Right now, I have an ad for Disoverflagstaff.com in the upper banner. I live in Phoenix, and like food/travel etc, so the ad is close. I mostly get automotive stuff. Do you share your computer? If you do, their searches may impact what you get offered. If you look in the upper right corner of the ad banner, you will see this little "A". If you scroll over that, it will display AdChoices. Click that, and it will give you options to change what you see. This is what I see after clicking it...
  8. Saw one on the 202 on Monday

  10. really sharp!
  11. While several of these really appealed to me, These two REALLY stand out. Great work!
  12. Very cool project, nice touches all around.
  13. That is a great looking ride! Nice job on the section, it looks really slick.
  14. Cool, nice job matting the two together.
  15. He played a great bit part in a TV show recently, where he was Eddie Money, pretending to be an Eddie Money cover act at a Casino lounge or something. It was hilarious. The older we get, the more often we will recognize those that pass.
  16. Welcome! There is a lot of information on this forum to help improve and inspire..
  17. Until you NO LONGER get joy out of having them, I would not get rid of them. I may control that impulse to add more, but not get rid of. My dad used to say, if it is not in the way, and it is not costing you anything to keep it, why get rid of it. If you are in a financial bind, or they are a burden, that is a different story. Having said that, I do have a plan in place. If I precede my wife into that dark night, she has instructions on what is to be done. It always saddens me to see estate auctions or garage sales where you KNOW someones passion is being piddled away at pennies on the dollar of it's true value. First, my completed models are to be offered to my father (if it is still alive) and my children to pick from. I doubt my wife will want to keep any, but she surely can. Next, my tools and supplies (of which there is enough to start a small hobby shop) are to be offered to my sons, one who is just now starting to show an interest in figure modeling (always hoped he would be a car guy, but is is 26 now, so not likely), my middle son who has little to no interest, and my youngest who at this point is still too young to build full glue kits, but loves cars and has built several snappers. (huge age gap between oldest and youngest) Finally, the kits. I do not have quite the stash that some folks here have, as I was not always in a position to simply buy to add to the stash, and I really only bought what I thought I would build, or could kitbash/take parts from. This still leaves me with 300+ kits. First, let my boys have their pick. Anything that remains, are to be given (that's right, given) to a fellow modeler that I have known for years (should he still be alive) that I have a great deal of respect for. He is not aware of this. If he is gone, or chooses not to take them all, the remaining are to be donated to something like the Cub Scouts, or a youth club, where they may have some impact. Keep in mind tho...I DO still plan on none of the above happening, me living a VERY long life, and building ALL my models. ? But you know what they say about plans....
  18. Sounds amazing, too bad there is no change for me to make it.
