Great looking paint work and like the bright color. The chrome body trim all looks well done. Nice detailing on the engine.

Great looking show. So many interesting cars and stepsides. That red Plymouth with the 413 reminds me of a car a neighbor had back then. That car should never have been street legal. Whenever he would drop the hammer on that car, he had to be sure he was pointed in the right direction and be ready for it to try and turn on him without turning the wheel.

Revell 1/25 Formula 1 speedboats - anyone know more?
espo replied to robdebie's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Not sure about the Formula One Boats, but any of the faster Drag Boats have required a drivers capsule in case of the boat flipping. I would think that these would as well, but again I don't know that. Would depend on the sanctioning body and their safety requirements. -
Another mention about manual transmission vehicles. We ordered a new '09 Wrangler with a 6 speed manual that we intended to go off road on a fairly regular basis. We attended many Jeep Jamborees in several central and eastern states. Something we noticed was that most people were buying Wranglers with the Automatic Transmissions. While I did see where they could have an advantage in curtain off- road applications one thing that tickled us was after negotiating a very difficult obstacle was the reaction from other drivers when the realized we had a stick. We had a 4-inch suspension lift, 33-inch BFG KM2's and when we sold the Wrangler at 130k miles it still had the original clutch and drive line with zero breakage. Who says you can't have fun crawling over rocks, running through streams, playing in the mud, then drive it through a car wash and drive it to work on Monday.

Today is a special day in my life with my lovely wife, this is our 39th anniversary. I have been in love with this woman for half of my life and I'm blessed that she shares the same feelings towards myself. We have faced the good and the bad in life even the sickness and health bit as well. We have always been there for one another when moral and emotional support has been needed. I would hope that each and every one of you here have a similar relationship in your lives.

Hope you are recovering is going well. The two-tone colors look good together and the rear wheel well opening changes the side view in a good way. Like how you did the interior.

STRIPPER with LOTS of PICTURES * repainting a Beetle
espo replied to Edward Gore's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Makes you wonder what type of masking tape he was using. On the large container for the pond. I have the same issue, but I just put a scrap piece of an old 2x4 under one end and that makes the other end deep enough to cover most model bodies. I do like the container you ended up using and now I have to find something like that.- 21 replies

Something to consider with a C-Pap machine. There are a few different head gear options. The main thing to look at is how the breather positions on your nose. Some of these put a lot of pressure against your upper lip under your nose. Over a period of time this can affect your upper front teeth. The constant pressure over time can and will often push your teeth back some. This can affect your bite in that your lower teeth will strike or rub against your upper teeth when you close your mouth or eat.

Like the extra detailing you have done on these die cast. -
Great looking paint color and finish don't even see the bleed through from the package tray. Like seeing a Flathead detailed like this. I agree with Robert, having the rumble seat working gives you a display option.

Great looking paint finish and like the color.

Some of the bumper issues can be minimized by reshaping the body panel between the bumper and the lower body. You'll also need to trim the back edges of the bumper wraparound a little. The body panel also mates too the radiator support and that is the area you're going to be trimming.

For those of us of a certain age, any time you hear this music or watch this movie it's like reliving your formative years.

Great looking color and the Pledge/ Chrome grill and bumper idea is something I'll have to try.

As Dennis mentioned, most of the new drivers here have no idea of how to coordinate their hands and feet at the same time in order to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission. Case in point, when I used to take our Jeep Wrangler into the Jeep dealer for service, they had to go get the "older salesman" that we ordered it from to drive the Jeep up to return it when they were done. The mechanics never seemed to have a problem, but the lot boys were at a loss.

Thank you for sharing. I also found another video on YouTube on this and other beach and T.R.O.G. style races. -
Removing cast in wheel lug nuts.

Like this idea a lot. -
Great looking '51 Chevy. Had a friend in high school who drove one but in primer, that's all we could afford back then. I'm using some Novus #2 along the edges right now and that seems to be working. Thank you for your interest in the build. I put the windows in last night and started putting the interior on the floor pan. May get some pictures up tonight.

Very realistic looking. Looks more like photos of a real setting than a diorama.

Beautifully done with your usual standards. We have an old expression about " Making a silk purse out of a pig's ear". And here we are.

Beautiful looking paint finish and colors. Cleanly built. Like that you built it as a stocker, but I'll bet it would also make a great looking street rod.
