  1. Great looking paint work.
  2. Beautiful looking paint finish, the black color can be a tuff one to get looking this good. Like the red interior and the engine detailing.
  3. Great looking paint and chrome trim. Like the stance.
  4. Like the body mods and the paint treatment. The interior looks great.
  5. Like the paint idea. This could have been used by thew race team to move equipment around in the pits.
  6. Beautiful looking paint work and trim. The 1940 Fords were some of the best-looking Fords.
  7. The paint work looks amazing. Very cleanly built.
  8. Glad you mentioned all of the changes you made. The body work is all so well done that just looking at it you wouldn't realize just how much was done. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Very nicely done interior.
  9. Very realistic looking Drag Racer. Like the livery details.
  10. Beautiful looking paint work and the colors look correct. The fiberglass under body detail is something many don't remember.
  11. Beautiful looking paint finish and striping details. Always liked the blue color scheme better than the white.
  12. Your efforts on the paint work and the color really show. Like the Street Racer look. The detailing on what does show of the engine looks great as does the interior.
  13. Great looking build. Like the engine detailing and the body trim.
  14. Been a great build to follow. Like the concept and the beautiful looking finish build. Bet the 1:1 would be a big seller in our Sierras.
  15. Great looking color combination. Like all the clean looking body trim details.
  16. Beautiful looking paint. I also like the clean no bumper look.
  17. Dramatic changes from what you started with.
  18. Just got back from a short trip and I'm catching up on yours and some of the other builds hat I have been following. You mentioned the possibility of a small top chop for the window fitment. Your last picture doesn't look like you have done that yet. Just another thought on the windows. When I ran into this problem on the one I built I used some L shaped plastic strips to fill the gap and act as window moldings as well.
  19. Been enjoying all the fine details on this build. Feels like you could drive it home when finished.
  20. Great looking color. The Chevelles did have the option of the Hugger Orange paint that is usually seen on Camaros from 1969, but I wouldn't change this. For the interior you might try using some Tamiya X-19 Smoke to accent some of the seat and door panel lines. The radio speaker grills and defroster vents on the top of the dash could be done as well.
  21. Great looking paint work, and the interior finish is especially nice looking.
  22. Great pictures. YouTube has many videos of old pictures depicting many subjects. Could easily spend a full day lost in the past.
  23. The key problem you mentioned goes back into the early 1950's and maybe even further. In the 60's, hanging out with friends in a parking lot it was somewhat of a joke to go around and open each other's trunks or unlock their cars using just the key to your own GM car. Seems at that time GM only used a very few key numbers for their products.
  24. More of a gray than black but has a nice smooth finish with little to no shine. I used Tamiya TS-66 Lin Gray. This is one of their military colors and they many others. Hope this will help.
  25. Beautiful looking build. You are right about some older decals that do not want to cooperate. These here all look well done.
