  1. I would be interested in finding more information about this and any other displays that they may offer.

    2022 Builds

Your technique using the plastic wrap gives the look often seen on this vintage of car. I have tried to do much the same using a dry brush method, but I'll be trying your technique in the future.

    2022 Builds

All very cleanly detailed and unique unto themselves. Big fan of the muscle cars.
  4. Like the great Pony Car builds.
  5. Great looking builds, and I like the variety of subjects.

    My Finished 2022

A little bit of everything, and they're all great looking builds.
  7. Great variety of subjects.
  8. Big fan of the C1 Corvettes and these all look great. Like the tuck & roll on the dash and door panels.
  9. Wow, they all look great. I would love to build the Ranchero.
  10. Great idea on the body mods and the drive train. The paint looks great.
  11. Great build compared to your 1:1 van. Building a model of a past or even present vehicle is always fun and brings back a lot of memories. Looks like the Tin Worm has had its way with your old friend.
  12. Great looking Gasser. I had never seen that body before, but it looks perfect.

    Boot Hill!

    Great looking build.
  14. Beautiful looking builds. The paint work and detailing look great.
  15. Interesting subject. Clean looking build with realistic looking paint finishes.
  16. They all look great, and I like the broad subject matter. They are all cleanly done. Better to work on quality and not worry about how many you built.
  17. Just drill the two parts of the axle and insert a metal pin, like a paper clip or a staple, and glue the axle housing back together.
  18. Great idea. Built a resin '50 Olds fastback a couple of years ago. Pontiac also offered a sedan delivery that sold in small numbers from this same era.
  19. Looks great, especially considering the lump of an engine you had to start with.
  20. This looks like it could be from the '40's to early '50's. On the inside or back of the housing are there any markings that might offer a clue?
  21. As much as I would like to have some of these remote-controlled models, they are a little beyond my budget. I have been impressed by some of the optional models I have seen lately at the model shop. Besides the great looking lowered C-10's they have some Camaros and Challengers as well.
  22. I'm afraid most of the things that shock me in life today aren't open for discussion here. Not a bad idea since it avoids a lot of food fights.
  23. Having lost more parts than you would need to build a model in the carpeting at our old house I went with a light-colored simulated wood floor laminated flooring in my new model room. I still use a plastic chair mat under the desk to protect the flooring and it does seem to slow down the parts when rolling on the floor.
  24. Like the theme of your build. The cab finishes look very much like some of the older custom paints that didn't weather well if left outside.
  25. Looks great, and I agree with everyone else on this kit, not one of AMT's better efforts.
