  1. What color are you using here? I don't know if you watch Iron Resurrection on Motor Trend TV, but they have redone a '65 Catalina that had been in his family since new. Might be able to catch a rerun or check out You Tube as they will often have some shows as well as Hot Rod Magazine online.
  2. Great looking color.
  3. Bine watching your build. This Plymouth body style has never been that interesting to me even though I have the kit. That said, after seeing some of the body changes you have made, I'm thinking I might just build one also.

    SVE T-Bird

Great looking fabrication on the engine and chassis.
  5. Wound square metal tubing with the center the size of your hinge work? The square tubing would give you more gluing contact area for the trunk lid, and you could still remove the lid if you wished.
  6. Beautiful looking Kustom body and paint work plus the trim detailing. Enjoyed watching your build on this one.
  7. Great looking setup. Like the Fifth Wheel design. Nice interior details.
  8. Lot of great looking detailing. Like the seat belts.
  9. I guess I'm an odd ball, but I clear over the decals.
  10. Tamiya has a thinner, part # X-20A. Can be used to clean your paint brushes as well.
  11. I have seen brass stock at both Hobby Lobby and even the local ACE Hardware store. Maybe there are stores in your area that are similar. Just an idea of where to start looking for your needs.
  12. I agree that could be a problem depending on the circumstances. The time that I used the old style Dicon was over twenty years ago. We purchased a new home and our builder along with a couple of others had displaced many woodland creatures. The area had been used for cattle grazing with a stream running thru it, and little else. When they started building these new homes many animals, mice included lost their habitat. The mice were trying to get a safe place to nest. They got as far as the garage where they would find the Dicon. I would find their dehydrated bodies along the baseboards inside the garage. The old style Dicon seemed to work quickly as I was cleaning out their little furry bodies weekly. This went on for a couple of months before it just seemed to stop. My new neighbors all had much the same problem as well. The produce that I can buy now is not as powerful as the old one and that is why I was lamenting that is was no longer available.
  13. I think this is why baking soda was invented.
  14. Have a couple of bird feeders and one of them has suet holders on the side. There is one woodpecker that you can just tell he's having way too much fun. Unlike the others that visit this character will land on the upright post holding the feeders and slowly slide down the post. He'll do this a few times before he goes and helps himself too the seed in the feeder. None of the other birds do this little slide, we always know it's him.
  15. I wish they still sold the Dicon cardboard wedges with the really deadly green stuff inside. The stuff on the market now doesn't seem to even give then heartburn.
  16. Beautiful looking ship. I can't even imagine doing all the rigging.
  17. Great looking paint work and the trim is all cleanly done.
  18. Great looking Van. The colors and paint striping look era correct. Had one once with those Vector wheels.
  19. Interesting looking color combination. Like seeing the hot rod 4 banger.
  20. Great looking paint and I like the signage you used.
  21. Amazing detailing throughout. The paint work still looks fresh.
  22. Great looking Grand Prix. The paint color and finish look good with the vinyl roof. Nice stance.
  23. Great clean looking build.
  24. The color is really eye catching. Some finishes are hard to photograph compared to seeing them in person. Very smooth looking finishes.
