  1. Another one of your great looking street rods. The stance is where it needs to be. The color and paint finish look great, and I like your license plate.
  2. I followed your trim making for this, some great work, The finishes, especially the macabre looking head, are all well done.
  3. I agree with Bill on the wood finish. Your paint colors are much better looking than the original builders' ideas. I like how you created your wheels on this. Maybe/almost looks like some sort of commercial livery might be in order?
  4. Beautiful looking paint job, and the overall body looks great. I like the wide whites.
  5. Really bright red color and the finish looks very smooth.
  6. Great looking interior details.
  7. Excellent chassis and engine detailing.
  8. Love the look and the stans.
  9. Interesting looking old Morris Minor. I notice the wheels are from something else. I don't know the spacing on the bolt pattern, but have seen where many different manufacturers will use a common wheel bolt patterns thus making wheel upgrade easier.
  10. As the old saying goes "If you have to ask you can't afford it anyway",
  11. With the advent of 3D printing and the equipment becoming far more affordable than before, we may be able to print whatever we want soon. We have to remember that it is very expensive for a model company to do the research and create molds, marketing and advertising plus turn a profit.
  12. Great looking paint and I like how you detailed the engine. Was the Scuba gear in the kit?
  13. They are both great looking builds and have stood the test of time. I like the blown Flat Head in the roadster.
  14. Great looking wagon. I like the way you did your interior with all the accessories.
  15. Great looking build. Can't even imagine building in this scale with my fat fingers and ability to not hang on to any small parts. Sharp clean looking build.
  16. I like the nice clean Day2 look. Beautiful looking paint finish and colors. The stance street perfect.
  17. I agree with everyone else on the color. I like how the interior is done to match.
  18. Beautiful looking paint finish and the color looks good. Clean looking interior.
  19. You know it's bad when rather than looking for a 40% off sale at HL you're checking Home Depot and U-Haul for sales on their large storage boxes.
  20. Back in the early '60's most '49 thru '51 Fords could be purchased pretty cheap plus the were light weight with a fairly roomy engine compartment. Key reasons were minimal purchase price, readily available, and light weight. They also offered far less frontal area to push thru the wind and speeds were approaching where this was becoming a factor as well.
  21. You mention wanting to put together an AMT '68 Camaro with a big block. You might want to consider one of the Revell '67 kits released in the last couple of years. My reasoning for the Revell kit is, in my opinion, a better proportioned body, it has a big block in the kit, and I think they even offered slicks as an option. Sometimes this can be easier than trying to mix parts from a lot of different sources. The changes for the '67 to the '68 are very minor such as side running lights and removing the vent window post. Revell has just released a new tool '69 Camaro that also is a big block kit.
  22. I agree and have used this very paint as a base for a couple of Candy Paint jobs. I really like how you did the body mods and the detailing on this build, very clean looking.
  23. Beautiful looking body work. I like how you hinged the hood and bed covers. Great air ride equipment detailing. The paint really sparkles.
  24. I agree with everyone else on the paint combination. GM and Pontiac especially offered some really intersting looking paint combos at that time. The chrome trim and interior are both cleanly done.
