You have come a long way with this build. The paint work looks great and I like your interior restoration.

I don't remember him so much but there were some really talented Comics. The MC was a little over the top and seemed to want to make it all about him but some of that is expected I guess, I think they call that "self promotion" in stead of making it about the focus of the show. Anyway I wish something like Last Comic Standing could be done in the future.

Had much the same problem on the one I built. I think part of the problem has to do with getting the radiator to fit into the area in the front end. This doesn't let the front fenders slide back far enough. The gaps on this body assembly are vey tight and if any one part isn't done just right then the front fenders will not slide back as they should.

I like how the finish turned out. You are right about how it would appear after being on the road for so many years. All the trim fits together nicely and those wheels look good.

That was the first time I got to see him on stage was during Last Comic Standing. I liked that series and they had some good up and comers on there.

I have seen Josh Blue in longer performances before and he is great. One of the best stories he has is about his wife and meeting her parents. I don't know if he's really married but the story is just to funny. One thing I like about this guy is life has dealt him a bad hand but he isn't going to let that stop him and I admire that about him. Like all good comedians he talks about things that we all can relate to and see the humor in the situation. If you ever get a chance to see his act you should do it.

MPC Dodge Deora

Great looking color and finish. This was such a unique custom and this build really captures the look of the original except for the color but I think this looks better. -
Beautiful looking paint and body trim. Perfect stance for the subject. very clean looking under the hood as well as the interior.

Only if it's a lead in to a Boston Lager commercial and you toast an x or two in the reception.

The chop looks like it lines up well.

Possibly the only Supernatural, "Supernatural" Impala

I like the added trunk goodies. -
I have heard of people going to vacation spots and finding the best rental vehicles are at U-Haul. That's right, people are renting a van or pickup at U-Haul for a fraction of what a Hurtz or Avis and Budget get for a nothing compact car.

I saw much the same thing a few years ago in a gas station. The guy at the pumps in front of me had a big dog in the back of his black pickup truck. This was in the middle of the summer and at least 90 degrees plus. The dumb so and so couldn't fathom that the black steel bed of his truck would be a problem for his dog. I invited him to place the open palm of his hand on the bed floor and asked him to see how long he could hold it there. His poor dog looked like he was tap dancing trying to keep his paws in the air and off the bed floor. He did finally let the dog into the cab of the truck after that.

We had a motion sensor in the area of our front door in the alarm system at our old home. Spiders seem to like corners to spin their webs and this would sometimes set of the hose alarm. This usually happened mid-day when we were both at work and the PD would be dispatched by the alarm company to check on the house. It was becoming a real problem as you can imagine.

Had to watch this. We just moved and are now overlooking one of the Greens on a local Golf course. This is a timely video since I have seen more clubs fly in the last month than I have seen in my inter life and I have been around for a very long time. The Green has two Sand Bunkers and a blind hill that they have to shoot over and the Pin gets moved every morning so you can see the frustration building as they get here near the end of the course.

1986 Chevy El Camino SS
espo replied to StanGlover's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Great looking El Camino. I like the color scheme and the contrasting interior. -
Beautiful looking build and the paint is dead on for the time frame. The exhaust brings back some memories, they were sometimes run that way because they wouldn't fit between the rear end and the bed floor. Burnt a hand once or twice trying to use the bed. I like how you did the bed cover to match the interior.

Great looking build. I like the style of wheels you used.

1959 Chevy impala 1/32 early 60’s style bellflower cruzer GSeeds
espo replied to gseeds's topic in Model Cars
The paint work is outstanding. Very cleanly done chrome trim. With my "meat hooks" I have a hard time with a 1/25th so I can't even imagine how hard a 1/32nd must be. -
In the pictures the color looks almost like it has some gold under tones to the color. I'm not normally a fan of yellow on cars and trucks but this looks very nice to my eye anyway. I like better than the pink.

We had some of these plastic shelf supports years ago. I would recommend anyone that has them throw them away and get the metal ones. I never thought about it since they were in our new house with no problems for a few years. One day I was putting the dishes up from the dish washer when one let go and dumped the plates (both sizes) and bowls onto the counter top and gouged it and broke about half our dishes . Lesson learned on these.

AMT ‘89 Chevy /drag boat Combo GSeeds
espo replied to gseeds's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Like it?, I love it. Especially the way the color patterns flow between the truck and the boat. Which kit did you use for the boat ? So many neat details and the whole theme makes you want to go to the river or lake. -
What if monster truck
espo replied to majel's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Great idea and I agree he would do something like this had he lived. The finishes all look great. I've never built this kit before but after seeing this I will pick one up the next time I see one.
