  1. I was looking forward to your build on this as the Plymouth prototype looked interesting. I'm really sorry to hear of your job situation. Been there and somehow survived it and You will also. Network with everyone and every other company you've ever had contact with. One thing that's hard to remember is this isn't a reflection of you or the work you have done in the past.
  2. These colors look a lot like some of the Edsel options of that time period.
  3. Great looking interior and I like how you did the chassis.
  4. Your up grading the engine with a blower is a good idea. I appreciate wanting to stay with the present engine since you would also stand a chance of damaging other parts of the build if you have to handle it to much. I do like the paint on this.
  5. Good looking little Nova.
  6. Beautiful looking replica. The paint finish is outstanding and the colors on the interior are great as well. I like how you detailed your engine and the chassis. Thankyou for the information on how you achieved the finishes.
  7. I like the color combination and your interior is very correct looking as well. The photo etched grill is a vast improvement over the kits.
  8. Great looking build going in. Have you considered putting the blower on a Hemi instead ?
  9. Great looking paint and I like the logos.
  10. Beautiful looking build. The amazing thing is what you had to start with and to have it end up looking like this.

Very nice looking colors and I like the business advert. on the side. You need to show us the engine as well.
  12. I agree, the paint color and finish look great. The trailer is interesting and I like how you've replicated the real ones.
  13. Their builds are just amazing. This one is the mildest one I can think of as far as the exterior body anyway. Like most of their work it's all under the skin that they really work their magic.
  14. Many here have built their own spray booths. Even when using spray cans it works even better than "the box". You can get some universal clothes dryer type hose to use as an exhaust and just stick to out the window. While I have a small spray booth designed for spraying I just stick the dryer hose out the door from my basement too the outside and nothing seems to ever blow back inside and the only odor seems to be from the paint on what ever I have just painted and that goes away quickly as it dries.
  15. Glad your color coats came out to your liking. I also used a big old box from the market for years. I hope you're wearing a mask when you paint. When you can justify the expense you really need to look at a spray booth both for your personal respiratory safety and keeping the odors out of the house.
  16. Ya my neighbor calls me "The rain maker".
  17. Surface rust was often caused by stray animals lifting a leg on them. I lost a set of "Baby Moons" over night, they lasted 24 hours before they turned to rust streaked hub caps.
  18. The Silver is used as a sealer of sorts to block the plastic color from bleeding thru. I wouldn't be to concerned about the color imperfections as you will want to use your normal primer over the Silver before going to any color coats.
  19. Today the weather wonk thinks we'll see 70 Degrees as a high. Less than a week ago we had a low with the wind chill of - 32. That's over 100 degree swing in temps. I think I may wash a car or two today.
  20. Got to wonder how the wood spokes got broken on the one car sitting in the snow. Could have been spinning the tires in the snow and they suddenly got traction maybe ?
  21. I have the Buddy Baker '73 Charger kit, still sealed. I wonder if anyone would know if this would be the same kit with different decals ?
  22. Great looking Box Art and the paint finish looks great as well. I never realized how much the tail lights remind someone of the '70's Ford Torino GT tail lamps.
  23. I'm glad you listed all of the components you used as it shows just how inventive this build is. All of the finishes look great and I like the detailing on the engine.
  24. I like the full fendered look.
  25. Great looking colors.
