  1. Picked up mine at my favorite hobby shop yesterday. So glad to see the magazine back. Great as always.
  2. Very nice build. Where the colors Sierra Gold and Sand Beige by chance ??
  3. Beautiful clean build. The interior looks perfect. Great job on the Fordomatic trunk trim.
  4. For the shifter its self I have used large size dress maker type pins. I try to find the ones with the thickest metal part, but some times it still seems to small of a diameter. Lately I have used different diameter paper clips. They are much easier to bend and shape as needed. If you have a large bench vise you can flatten the leaver a little to resemble a Hurst Shifter. For a console you can use strips of Plastruct to create the basic shape. Then file and sand to the desired shape. You may also need to use a little body putty to get what you want. Another thought on the console would be to look in the After Market section here, there is a list of many suppliers of interior as well as body conversion parts. Usually they offer the interior conversion to make a bucket seat car into a bench seat, but they also offer some interior parts that may work for you. Good luck on your build.
  5. Thank you for the update. The car looks much better to me in the darker colors. I also got lost in the link you mentioned watching the Rusky version of Top Gear.
  6. Thank you for sharing your photos. I don't ever recall seeing such a wide verity and the boats are very interesting.
  7. Sorry I'm unable to help on the part, but you might have better luck if you list your request in the WANTED section of the Forum.
  8. Not a subject I would normally be interested in, but it is a BMW and I do like the fender flairs and all. I'll be looking for one of these for sure.
  9. Great looking build. The color is perfect for a Boss.
  10. Beautiful build of an iconic car. The black paint is really smooth looking.
  11. I'm heading to the news stand now.
  12. This looks like an extremely well done model sitting on a deck railing. The basic Volvo P1800 is always nice to look at. The colors are something that may grow on you. The Mustang II looking grill will need some more development. The low profile white wall tires are interesting. Not sure where the windshield came from. Is this a model, real, or photo shop ?? .
  13. Great build. While the wheels seem a little large to some that is a popular style still. The interior looks very nice also.
  14. Very realistic looking build. The trim details looks perfect
  15. Great job on the stretch body work. You don't often see a Lemo. build.
  16. Great looking Kustom. The body alterations flow smoothly, especially the rear fenders. I like the interior.
  17. Look'n good. I like the rubber marks on the trailers deck. .
  18. You know some builders try very hard to get a broken window to look that good, and you just opened the box. Great job on the weathering. Poor old unloved Impala.

    34 Ford

Great looking stock Ford. Did you hinge the hood sides or are they permanently in the up position ??
  20. Looks very nice so far. A pretty much stock build I'm guessing. The Black body and Red interior should look great.
  21. I wouldn't worry about it. The build looks great so far and the back story is interesting. I, and I'm sure many others, have also tried to recreate a point in time based on the cars we or friends owned. Many street racers had almost stock cars since that's all we could afford at the time.
  22. Very cool looking truck. The paint is super smooth and the forward opening hood looks great.
  23. They are both beautiful. I like the T/A style hood, I didn't see the kit's hood so were you able to replicate the 1:1 or not ??
  24. Turned out perfect. Again the engine compartment wiring is outstanding
  25. Great looking color. I like that you did the pillared coupe instead of the hardtop. This looks more like the basic low priced car that the Road Runner started out to be.
