  1. Beautiful build, so realistic looking. The fit and finish is perfect. I like the wood bed flooring.
  2. The chassis looks great. Were the "Glass Packs" a kit part ??
  3. Beautiful paint job. You should be proud of that. I have used the Tamiya white putty for a long time and had no issues if that helps.
  4. Well it looks like you just raised the bar for engine wiring. That food coloring in Future is a great idea for window tint, I'll be trying that on my next build. I also like the interior treatment, a little on the cushy side for the subject, but very nice all the same. Look forward to following this build.
  5. Great color and I like they wheels. You have great deal of patience, I have turned lesser problems turn a build into donor kit.
  6. I like both styles. There used to be a 1:1 kit very much like the Beach Rat with the top with a little less chop. donb mentioned the Rat Patrol TV series. I remember the setting was WWII African Desert with Jeeps. Both great builds and look forward to your "Show Manx" .
  7. Beautiful looking build.
  8. Great detail work on this build. I like the fender cover for the Air Cleaner, little things like this really adds to the presentation. I also had the same decal problems and went thru a great deal of Sovaset to get them to lay down on the hood. The Orange still seemed to show thru the white also.
  9. Outstanding build in every way. As others have related past encounters with big Impalas. In the fall of '67 I was ordering a '68 full size Bel Air coupe. On the showroom floor they had a Marina Blue '67 Impala 427 SS with the Pearl White bucket seat interior. So yes that is very much a valid color combo and it looked just as great in 1:1.
  10. The Red Oxide primer with the Arden really captures the look. Very clean well detailed engine.
  11. Great looking build. I agree with Bobdude on the wheels, they do look best with the as cast look.
  12. Really captures the look of these outstanding race cars. Just a thought on the hood. Have you considered opening the vents on the hood bubble ??
  13. Why not if you like the color go for it. On the shelf no one will know the build order but you.
  14. If you're putting it up for a vote I'd go with the factory Rally wheels but either would look good. Great looking body color and stripes.
  15. Your manifold looks far more realistic now. How are you planning to handle to hood clearance issues ?? I like the Ford Thunder Bolt style, but there are many other options including having the carbs. out in the breeze.
  16. Beautiful builds, especially the Foose truck. That looks like about six months worth from my bench.
  17. My building sugar rush is fueled by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
  18. Both builds look outstanding. I agree, would like to see more.
  19. In a restaurant I tell the waiter that the chief should chase the cow twice around the kitchen and it will be just right.
  20. I was in Hobby Lobby last week and they're carrying the pens again, they may be able to get the refills.
  21. The Creeper looks perfect. The trailer is really interesting, do you have any photos of the build up on that ? I'm especially interested in the duel axles and their suspension for a future project.
  22. I like the grill idea. The tail lights are at an odd angle to my eye. The dash is a great idea and the tail gate looks good.
  23. Very sharp looking build, I like the colors,
  24. While true it seems that I have at least one of everything they have on the shelf. I'm not bragging its just that the stock just never seems to change. I find it frustrating because I have a 40 % off coupon in my hot little hand and I want to use it, I just can't.
  25. The mark downs at Hobby Lobby here is the same as a 40% off coupon. No real deals yet.
