  1. Great looking body finish and like the later model bed.
  2. Great looking finish. The engine detailing looks like a truck in service for a long time with little or no attention to upkeep.
  3. Great realistic looking rust finish. A lot of little early style treatments, the diamond plate bed floor, exhaust stacks, the rear roll pan. The right rear inner fender looks like this truck may have started life as another color. Like the engine transplant and the wheel & tire combination.
  4. The changes to the grill and hood are a vast improvement over the stock front end. Like how you did the paint color and sparkle. The back end along with the taillight treatment id much better than usually seen on this model.
  5. Beautiful paint finish and deep looking color. Like the Touring build style. Great looking interior and engine detailing.
  6. Great looking paint finish and colors. Clean body trim and paint lines.
  7. Looks great and much like a scene from the movie. Have you thought of maybe adding an occupied-Out House to the scene?
  8. Like the chopped top and the '54 & early model '55 grill setup. Wouldn't want any more off the top, but this is just about as low as would still be feasible as a good driver and the look goes well with the Pro Street style chassis.
  9. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. I like how you did the interior. Very clean body trim and chassis.
  10. Beautiful looking Grand Prix. Makes me wonder why one of the model companies haven't offered more Pontiac and Oldsmobile models other than the GTO and 442. The color looks much like what they offered at the time and the vinyl roof as well.
  11. Congratulations on your display. I'm old enough to remember all of these and have built them also. Compliments to your wife on all that she did to help you with your display.

    37 Ford Coupe

Great looking build style and color. I like the flame decals, were they in the kit? There was a time when the '37 Ford was called "The Ugly Duckling". Hard to imagine why looking at your '37 Ford builds. They all have the stance and the smooth paint and engines done right.
  13. Thanks for sharing. The Good Guys Shows are always the best. The Heartland Nationals Show used to be here at the Kansas Speedway. I have no idea what happened for it to go north.

    BMW Z8

This is the Revell curb side model of the BMW Z8. The kits body, chassis and interior all fit very close and require only a minimum of sanding on meeting edges. The body lines are all well-defined. The interior is just as well done and with a little detailing the instruments, seats, and door panels are also well done and require almost nothing in the way of sharpening the panel lines. One feature that I liked was the option of an Up-Top Convertible top that is done as one piece of clear plastic. This I painted inside and out with just the rear window masked using PS5 Black that is for Poly Carbonate bodies that I bought once by mistake. A Boot for a folded top is painted Wooden Deck Tan. For the body I used Tamiya TS-42 Lt. Gun Metal and Tamiya Clear. The interior is both TS-68 Wooden Deck Tan and TS-62 Nato Brown. I used both Bare Metal Foil and a Gundam marker for the chrome trim. There is a back wash of both Tamiya Panel Line Accent in Black and Brown. I used a dark Browm Flocking for the floor and along the edge of the consol and behind the bucket seats. The kit has decals for the taillights and the front turn signal lights as well as all of the BMW emblems and instruments and European license plates. You will want to be very patient with soaking the decals since they take an inordinately long time to release from the paper and in my case the taillights just fell apart. The taillights where redone with Bare Metal Foil and X-27 Clear Red paint. They wheels are paint Aluminum and a flat clear. The suspension is well done, and a lot of detailing can add to that along with the exhaust and the lower engine parts that you would see through the suspension.
  15. Any of the 15" and most of the 14" Chevrolet Rally wheels, the one with the five open slots, should clear disc brakes since that was one of the reasons for their design starting in 1967. The 15x7's are still pretty inexpensive at most swap meets and garage sales. Some of the disc brake conversions from the aftermarket may even clear your stock 14x6 wheels. Another alternative if you're wanting to stay with 14"ers, your SS hub caps being a full wheel cover might fit a 14" Rally wheel and that would hide the wheel openings and look more like a stock option. Either way I like how you have redone this '66.
  16. Always like how you mix and match the bodies on your commercial trucks. Realistic looking body paint finishes and trim.
  17. Beautiful looking body and paint work. Like the stance along with the wheels and tires.
  18. Great looking Kustom body work, all the styling Q's from the past. Nice flat paint finish.
  19. Like all the extra details in the interior and the chassis detailing.
  20. Great looking build. Like the stance and the wide whites.
  21. Great looking paint color and finish. The changes to the bumpers due look better and the way you did the grill painting. Like the engine choice.
  22. Like the paint color and finish. The interior finish looks good. Nice chassis detailing as seen in the front end shot. The wheels fit the time frame of the mid '60's.
  23. Great looking build. The body colors work well, and the minimal body trim make it look like a 150-base model. The chassis changes would work well in 1:1 to strengthen the chassis. The engine looks perfect for this.
  24. I like seeing the Aussie cars as they seemed to have a more interesting looking than the US versions. Great looking color and body trim.
