  1. Here's another 'super group' of sorts.... They're called Les Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains. They are Les Claypool, Buckethead on guitar, Brain from some Primus stuff and the Fancy Band on drums, and Bernie Worrell from Parliament and Talking Heads on keyboard..... This is called "Elephant Ghost". It has a reggae-type drop in it, and it really comes alive about 5 minutes in......
  2. Sure they need to "enrich the community", otherwise what's the point? Whether a post sparks polarized debate or not, all posts add to the 'life' of the forum....... I see a lot of posts that do just that. In fact I have gotten remarks like that on my stuff..... I'd rather get something like that said than to not get any replies at all....
  3. Can you show us what you're driving? I'm not familiar with that dash....... looks cool!
  4. Got my annual birthday Pineapple Upside-Down Cake a couple days early..........
  5. gall dang undigestion.....
  6. He will! Probably already started on it..... I like that a whole bunch, man! One question tho, where are the pit stripes? LoL......
  7. That would be a good color combo on something, man... red and gray go well together!
  8. That's not corduroy, that's Tuck -n- Roll!
  9. He was always on the run from the MIB, they ended up catching him in the last episode...... There was a lot of mystery about the puppet they used for him. Whenever he did a guest spot on talk shows and such, the puppet was quickly stowed away so noone would see it..... If it WAS a puppet......
  10. A=lien L=ife F=orm.... he was a tragic hero of sorts....
  11. I had the chance to buy a BMW much like the one in Rodent's pic above when I was a late teen..... Something was wrong with it, so I could have gotten it very cheap. It would run fine until it got to operating temp, then it would shut off..... Now I think maybe it just had sugar in the gas tank. Always liked those Bimmers.....
  12. Carl, I guess we're the only ones here that like him......
  13. Today is/was Wayne's (Agent G) birthday. To celebrate I thought I would show you guys a pic of G as a Motorcycle Cop in ol' St. Louis......
  14. Another quick question, Guys.... The seats in the '49 coupe are heavily patterned. What do the seats in the '50's interior tub look like? I realize that the rear seat is part of the tub, but if the seats are smooth, I could alter the '50's interior to look right in the coupe..... Thanks......... Looking at Leslie's pic again, it seems the convertible's seats ARE smooth..... Am I seeing that right?
  15. You know, I used to not really like the shoebox ford..... always thought they were kinda plain! It's been just recently that I've began to realize that their "plainness" is just an empty canvas for whatever direction you want the build to go....... This kit will be my next project, plan is a mild custom.....
  16. Revell-o-gram '37 Ford coupe.... I've built it a few times, each one a little better than the last! This is the first one, Cadillac engine and artillery wheels. Then I built another with Corvette wheels. and the latest one is my favorite out of the bunch!
  17. If I had something that was plated and wanted to paint it, I would strip the chrome from it with Bleach, then prime and paint as usual.... DupliColor makes a really good sandable primer that comes in a rather large can that will work just fine with the Tamiya paints....... DupliColor products can be found at your local O'Rielly's or Advance Auto.....
  18. This cartoon gave me a giggle.....
  19. Sharp Dog! You can really see the Husky and Shepherd in him....... Mixed dogs make for the most well behaved and ailment free pets....
  20. I tried to read this book as a kid, because I saw the movie and loved it! It was a bit too advanced of a read at the time for me, and I had forgotten all about it....... Maybe I'll hunt down a copy and try it again.
  21. Anyone here willing to admit that they read "The Adventures of Pippi Longstocking" as a kid? I did a few times, enjoyed it so much that I was on the hunt for an original printing of it for a while....... 1950 was it's first print in the US.......
  22. I would just maybe get some spray cans, man... I've tried that set-up and couldn't get good results with it... Aerosol cans work just fine for spraying parts.
