  1. About every order I've placed with Slixx has taken 2 or 3 weeks. just be patiant . Considering the fact they are even doing this particualar sheet , I would bet they are swamped with orders for them
  2. Agreed, But a clean builder 58 is TOUGH to come up with,,,,, in either form. I looked for nearly a year before I got one,,,,and it still cost me over $50 with a heavily customized body Luckily our resident annuals builder guru ( aka StevenGuthmiller ) gave me a body to fix the one I got
  3. Fantastic, But my bank account sure wishes you would stop.,,,,,,,,Every time you get one of these old annuals finished It adds another one to my want list
  4. me three,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I like the 58 more than the 57
  5. What is this thing called Planning you mention.? I see a subject I like ,, then go from there. Which usually means I look for and buy the subject kit,,,, then I see something I like and the process repeats. The problem with this method is nothing gets built ,,,but my stash grows and grows and grows .............
  6. Or put a counter sunk machine screw inside the tubing , then mount the tubing in a vice and slowly pressing the screw into the tubing will flare it out,,,,be advised go SLOWLY
  7. REALLY Nice haul. I am so jealous If you want to unload the 59 Dodge or the Plymouth, PM me
  8. This is one of those kits I am on the fence to get or not. A friend of mine had a 7 litre Galaxie back in high school and we had lots of fun in the big ol sled . For a big car it ran pretty well
  9. Pretty cool idea. It doesnt matter if it was feasible or not. Manufacturers did stuff like this ( then and now ) quite simply,,, because they could and to push the envelope
  10. Looking pretty good so far. I like it bigtime,,,,,,,,I've been wanting one of these to build for some time. And this thread has me thinking I want/need one But to me the body looks to short compared to the roof height . And it keeps me from pulling the trigger on one,,,,,maybe I'll get one,,,,,,, just because
  11. I have one of those 4 drawer,,, 5 ft tall file cabinets,,,full of old magazines.,,then in one of the boxes oranges were shipped in is full of National Dragster magazines,,,,,, Nothing newer than about 1974 or so
  12. VERY VERY VERY nice.,,,love the color I have to get one of these to build,,,,someday
  13. In an old static cling photo album
  14. I have been thinkign I want one of these to build for myself. But every time I see one it looks out of proportion to me. I know Johan did a 1958 and I think I may go that route myself. which is a shame the 57 Is a very nice looking car
  15. Mike, Thanks for the note. And glad your happy with it. I kept thinking I needed to keep it,,,,,,,but I bought a REALLY nice builtup with its original box off ebay last year or so and decided this one need to go away. I also have 2 Mr Norms Chargers ( one is much better than the other ) and a decent Warlord Camaro builtup as well in case you know anyone interested And thanks again, Bill
  16. Meaning it they're not at least 30 or 40 years old....they go in the trash can. I dont throw enough away as it is ,,and keeping semi recent boxes and/or instruction sheets is just not possibile for me .
  17. Ditto, Anymore only something fresh / new will open my wallet .
  18. Just like most of the boxes....in the circular file they go
  19. I work for myself , Auto mechanic,,specializing in older cars
  20. As far as I know...the 1969 barracuda annual never had a hemi. I have had several different re.issue vereions and they were always a wedge motor
  21. I like it. And same here. ....been looking for one myself
  22. Since the board change I cant delete private messges After some digging I think I can clean out my PM box, but it deletes them all and I dont want to do that any advise ?
  23. I wouldnt call them a waste of stryene,,,but I have zero interest in any of them
  24. I for one cant imagine producing a product thats already / currently avail by your competition on the market being profitable. But then again, I have ZERO interest in said product line so my opinion is probably moot point anyway
  25. Awsome work. But I have to ask,,,how do you go about measuring or even knowing where to make you chassis cuts . Such as to know where and at what angle to make the rear section kickups as an example.
