Cool Hand Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Got the ride height set and started doing the last round of body work, which is what all the little spots are.

I made it with a tiny spring so it actually hula-hubbas. ? Got this far last night. Some more detailing before doing the body.
Modlbldr Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Got a 59 Impala windshield frame and glass from RancheroSteve (Thanks!) to repair the frame on this 59 Buick. Got started last night on working it up. Later-
NOBLNG Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I made a set of frame rails for an upcoming project and cast myself a copy of a Chevy engine and trans.
Doug 1061 Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Went from this. To this. I finally had enough of rooting through that tool box to find whatever Evergreen strip I needed. Picked up a fir strip and some cup hooks from Home Depot. Couple hours later and I can see what I have here. Should make things much easier.

That is just too neat and tidy for me.? I made a little chart that lists my stock and clipped it to the light right above my bench. I color coded them so I know to look for evergreen or plastruct. At least I can tell whether to go searching or not. Edited March 1, 2021 by NOBLNG
Tom Geiger Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I’m striving to get mine organized like in your “before” photo! ?
Sledsel Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 The other day I played with correcting the roof on the 70 Galaxie police car. Did some more yesterday. Not perfect, but looks better. I need to do the window frames now.
Lownslow Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 spent 10 minutes shaving the hoses on the passenger side and the SS vent is gone

89AKurt Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 That hose detail cracks me up! I'm to the point of organizing my Evergreen too, someday. I'm really liking Tamiya primer. Most Ferraris are red, this looks pretty good in white. Assembled the fire extinguisher tonight.
Straightliner59 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Lucky me, when it comes to Evergreen storage!
Straightliner59 Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 While waiting for the paint on my Mack to dry enough, I found wheels and tires for this, and got it set up. I'm thinking 1975 L/S. Curbside.
PHPaul Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) My approach to organization sort of evolves as my stash grows. At the moment, this set of cubby holes handles my plastic and brass shapes and the stand on top handles most of my paint. . I find that some PVC pipe glued to a square of plastic works well for storing brushes, pens, pipettes and such. I also made a couple to hold my glue bottles upside down so they're ready when I am. Paul Payne Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 I made a couple of successful trades today, with more pending. Good to find new homes for things you know you will never do anything with. Decluttering is a good way to refocus on the projects that really interest you.
Sam I Am Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Working on mounting a resin GMC crackerbox cab onto a Chevy Titan chassis. One step forward and two back.

Modlbldr Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Among other projects I've been disassembling the mini Judge and touching up some of the road rash to (hopefully) make it look better. Later-
Spottedlaurel Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 (edited) Got more paint on these two: 1:24 Honda Today and Toyota Celica kits by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Automotive clearcoat on the Celica and more ancient Tamiya Coral Green on the little Honda. The latter might need some clear but the Celica should be good for polishing at the weekend. Also managed to get the AMT '67 Impala to fit together much better, after lots of shaving and trimming, and made a modest start on the restoration of this kit that I first built approaching 40 years ago: 1:24 Humbrol Fiat 131 Abarth kit by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Edited March 3, 2021 by Spottedlaurel
