Doug 1061 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 One of my favorite muscle cars. That is some nice foil work.
MrObsessive Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Having once owned the 1:1 of these (390, 4spd) I'll FOREVER love this car! One of my favorites I've ever owned, and one you can still buy at a "reasonable" price compared to the same vintage high perf Camaro or Mustang. Beautiful model of this rare beast and a very nice color for it!
89AKurt Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Looks really sharp! Exhaust tips I noticed are steel tube?
Snake45 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 (edited) FABULOUS job! You did an especially nice job on the AMX emblems on the roof, which are quite difficult to get right. Well done and model on! Edited March 13, 2020 by Snake45
robertw Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Like the colour, what paint did you use. Like your use of aluminum tube exhaust tips. I always think they look so much better then just trying to paint or hollow out plastic ones. Good job over all.
espo Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Beautiful looking build. The shade of grey with the extra metallic in the paint gives it a very elegant look especially with the very cleanly detailed trim and the white wall tries.
Classicgas Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Beautiful!! Any manufactures listening??? We want!!!!

Beautiful model of this rare beast and a very nice color for it! You are so right! These are great cars and the 390 "dogleg head" engines are so under-rated. they came with Borg-Warner T-10 four speeds and limited slip rear ends. Right in line with the best of the "musclecar" era. I've always been kinda partial to the metallic turquoise color they came in, as well as the matching engine block metallic turquoise color. Shirley Shahan ( "The Drag-On Lady" ) used to kick serious behind driving an AMC. Edited March 15, 2020 by spike morelli
