Finally finished!
For me this was fairly ambitious build with a lot of modifications. I was wanting to build something of a traditional hot rod.
The roof is coffee stir sticks cut and sanded to shape roof lines. Then utilizing the R&M quick change rear end with the traditional buggy spring. The flathead is from the 32 sedan with the SCOT blower also from R&M. Colour is my interpretation of Ford Washington blue with blood red interior.

I’ve included a pic I loosely built the model of not sure who’s it is but someone on forum may.

Russell - way nicely done, Man.  Great tweaks on the engine and the roof bows.  And thank goodness you built your kit instead of hoarding it or trying to sell it for big $$ on the Bay.

The real one looks like one of the "Angry A's" coming from Ross Racing Engines and the affiliated builder (whose name escapes me).   Several of these Angry A's (and possibly this one among the four) were featured in an article in Rodders Journal six years ago or so.

Here's a photo of what I think is the same car, from my 2016 Detroit Cobo Autorama event coverage...sorry for the dark image.

Again, congratulations big time!   TIM

Nice job on a nice kit, Russell.  They just might be the nicest set of in-scale wooden hood bows I've seen yet- very fine crafstmanship there. Love the detail on the flattie as well!

Cheers

Nice job man!!! Can you tell us what have you used for pulley belts on the engine?

Hi Rastislav,

Thanks for looking. The belts are included as well as multiple pulley options in the Replicas and miniatures S.C.O.T blower kit. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the comments Tim. I also knew I would want to build more than one of these so I have more:)

Beautiful looking finishes on all the surfaces. The shading detail on the engine colors especially. I like the roof treatment since it allows you to see the interior as well. Nice to see the "Dirt Track" tires.

Love this. You've done an excellent job- I appreciate the custom touches you have added over what comes in the kit. The results are a nice period correct look for a Model A.

Hello Russell,  what a beauty! Excellent craftsmanship all around. The engine detail, woodwork, your usual beautiful paint, all looks awesome. I think I need one of those blower kits....

Your extra time spent on this project was worth it. This is a fantastic interpretation of Model A Coupe Hot Rod built with a great selection of parts.

Very nicely done, the wooden roof bows are spot on. I love that RMCM Supercharger Company of Torino blower, it's so cool. I've almost used one several times, you made it look outstanding with the detail painting. Hopefully, this kit will be reissued someday.... -RRR
