Finished in pastel green with tyres from the Modelhaus. Pretty much oob and inspired by a picture in a book I bought back in the 90's. 'The Colorful World of Hotrods'

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you like the colour and my little street scene. I do wish I had bought more of those Modelhaus whitewalls when I could ?

Beautiful looking little '32. All of the details are cleanly done and I like seeing a built flathead engine. The wide whites and the young lady help set the era.

Still my beating heart - that is a stunner!  A build like this makes me want to bring my kit of the Tudor to the front of the queue!  Everything is sooooo right!

Cheers

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated. I really did enjoy this build and the end result was just what I wanted.

The figure was a white metal item I found at a model show here in the UK many years ago. One of our club members was a jolly good figure painter so I asked him to paint it for me, as a favour.

He is no longer with us so the 'Bobby-soxer' has a strong sentimental attachment now.

My better half said the scene would look better if the driver was in the car and she could be leaning forward to give him a kiss ? She is such a romantic sweetie.

Atb, Steve.

I love everything about this. The whole scene just has the right vibe. It almost has a "sound".
