gasser59 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 After many years, and I mean years, of working on this and putting it back in the box because of obstacles, I'm happy to report this one is finally done. AMT body, Wild Willy engine, 'Z'ed frame, printing plate floor boards, PE aircraft-style seats from Wild Hare, plumbed, wired and almost everything else. Comments always welcome. There's also a build thread under WIP if you want to see the process. 4
happy grumpy Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Beautiful rod, I like the natural metal finishes and the subtle weathering. I like this. 1
Richard Bartrop Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Looks good! The body lends works well with the full Fad T look. 1
Phildaupho Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Great rendition of a classic kit which I built when it was first released over 60 years ago. Yours is infinitely better !! 1
speedy5963 Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Very cool build, I have yet to even start a project like this but hope to soon! 1
Matt T. Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Perfect! Thanks for sticking with it. Worth your time and efforts, for sure. So cool! 1
espo Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 You captured the look of bare metal, and great detailing on the engine. 1
bisc63 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Very large "cool" factor! Looks like a terrifying driver, though! Worth the time you put into it. Well done. 1
Spottedlaurel Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Well worth the effort over all those years, it looks amazing. 3 hours ago, bisc63 said: Looks like a terrifying driver, though! I thought the same thing! Quite a handful at 1:1 I'd imagine..... 1
Straightliner59 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 This is very cool, Brad! It's got "it". Nice job! 1
AmericanMuscleFan Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Superb Brad ! Whatever obstacles you may have encountered, the end result is first class and the assembly is impeccable. This hobby is not a race, the important thing is to cross the finish line and be satisfied with the result. You can be proud, the attention to detail is the first impression that comes out of your work. Well done!!! ? 1
ea0863 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I love the whole setup and stance. And I am totally jealous of how good you got the engine details! 1
echo Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 Very nice looking hot rod with an attitude, excellent detailing all around. 1
NOBLNG Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Really nicely done and great detailing on the engine!? 1
Dennis Lacy Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 That’s about as bad ass as a T Coupe can get. Looks totally WICKED! I love everything about it! 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 Wicked! I doubt that the driver can see anything with that big blower in front of the windshield... But who cares, it looks cool!
