Was to the capital today and picked up Tamiya fine polish compound and also found a big scale vette to a price i could not recist. Actualy seems to be a neat kit with much more detail than other 1/16 kits i have seen and it does come with two intakes and two sets of seats. The chassi looks nice with good detail on a arms and other parts but I might throw a resin tube chassi underneath it though, and i do need a spoiler and front lip.

Picked these up today. The JoHan Plymouth is built as the stock car and the drag parts are still there. The 66 Malibu only has the dash and steering wheel glued in, the Nova is complete/ unstarted, the Thunderbolt has been started, and the Cop Out is a built original. May be going back tomorrow for more.

Wonderful store, Hobbybokhandeln=HobbyBookStore Stockholm Sweden, from the beginning they imported magazines that you could subscribe to, you picked up your magazines from an archive folder and paid. I have been shopping there since the late 80s. From time to time real rarities have turned up. The shops are important for the hobby. That shop is one of the reasons why I have returned to the hobby several times, I lived a couple of blocks away in the 90s and I couldn't resist starting again.

One of the owners is a very good modeller by the way.

Great backstory! Yes they for sure are important! I usaly go to Modellhobby (Järnvägs Specialisten) in Luleå and i just love going in there, its a large shop with a good selection of kits no aftermarket though.

Is that a metal frame?

Yes. Metal frame, but body is plastic unfortunately. This is a late production Pocher so they were doing more plastic parts

Got this today. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not familiar with this brand or any Japanese kits for that matter. The boat and trailer is what intrigued me. Box is alitte rough but all contents were complete and sealed inside.  20240315_160516.thumb.jpg.647a62a1c65409c1bb213705252151c3.jpg

That's really cool, I've got a number of LS kits but are Can Am slot car bodies converted to static kits and not really that nice as far as details go.
