My bad. I have a memory of buying one as a kid back in the days when KMart and Toys R Us were still a thing. It's funny how your mind can play tricks. 2
Straightliner59 Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 That's interesting. I've never seen the Fujimi EM Series models in those boxes. 2

Can't wait for the stores so I can score some normally expensive stuff like the Jungle Jim funny car. 1

Great haul! Really digging the Fujimi EM Daytona and Dino. I am curious about the Wyle E Willys. Does it have a scale? I am guessing it is something like 1/32 with some 1/25 parts (rear wheels and engine Parts) The front wheels look like the Cosmics that were the optional alloy wheel available on Lotus Europa S2. I have never seen a set in scale. I suppose they are about 1/32 scale? If the kit is unsealed, is it possible to get a diameter measurement? No worries, if not. 1
Biggu Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Not much really but a small supply of hydraulic hoses and air lines from Ted’s …. 2

I didn’t see a scale on them. Here’s a couple pictures. There’s a finished build thread of all three kits in the ‘everything else’ section under glass. That’s where I saw them and thought they were pretty cool and would be a fun build. 3

That's exactly what I needed to see. I make them out to be 1/2 - 17/32", just a hair shy of 13" wheel in 1/24 scale. Cheers.

I scored one unassembled, no cracks or warpage, scratch free windshield, only missing one red taillight. The box has some water stains and will get the attention of some glue and the steam iron. I like the idea I've of seen here on the forum of changing the rims and tires to something more hotrod looking. ?°° a blower popping out the hood? 6
NOBLNG Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 First ever order from Texas3d.? Beautiful looking stuff! 8
Kenmojr Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 (edited) I just could not pass up this on Amazon.CA, so I ordered it last night - Revell 1966 Chevy Fleetside for $25 (Canadian) which is a great deal in Canada. Lately I've been buying quite a few models but I had limited time to spare as I was my 93 year old father's primary caretake for the last 4 years. I have not had my 60 Corvette to a car show during that time. Sadly Dad passed last month, September 12, 2024. Dad lost his mobility and was confined to the 2nd level of our house. His only entertainment was making his way to my bedroom to watch old movies, CNN, History channel, TV car shows and NHL hockey on my tv. He passed in my bedroom while waiting for me to turn tv on for him. I miss him dearly. Edited October 18, 2024 by Kenmojr 9

hedotwo Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Shout out to 3D Scale Parts... I received my order of stand up Cadillac wreath hood ornaments and they're really nice. Outstanding detail and chrome for such small parts! 3
Mattilacken Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Got an order in from Germany and the quality is top notch. 2

My wife and I had done much the same thing for her mother until she had to go into a cared medical facility and understand what a strain this all can be for you emotionally as well. 2
OldNYJim Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Picked up the Revell 39 Chevy from Hobby Lobby - I try and pick up anything ‘hot toddy’ when they have it because I’m sure I’ll want it at some point… Plus, they have their own version of the Tamiya weathering powders now - couple of different flavors - picked up these to try out and compare to the Tamiya ones. Plus, slightly off topic, picked up the teal Johnny Lightning demo derby car to match the pink one I already had: I already built a 1:25 build of the pink one - guess I need to do the mint green one now too: 3
