What a coincidence.  Minutes ago the mailman delivered a resin '66 Corvette hood with the Corvette script!  Now here is the weird part, on eBay it was listed as a stock AMT '63 hood but the picture was not of a '63 hood.  I took a chance that it was not a '63 and lucked out.  It is a nice casting with under hood detail too.

Modelhaus made them, and I think I have a couple. And now I'll have (another) "real" one! B)

This morning the FexEx guy left this at my backdoor. It's a Neo die-cast 1/43 scale Chevrolet Corvair 95 Corvair. I was so impressed with the 2 other Neo Corvair 95s, the Greenbrier and Rampside Pickup, I got a few weeks ago, I decided I wanted the van version too. Lovely models all three. Fantastic detail. Some of the nice 1/43 models I've ever seen. I would not hesitate buying others of their models down the road. In fact. I wonder if they have any Edsels?

Looks like you're just loading up on non-Cobra kits, Ray.

Good for him! :D I told him a year or two ago that there was a LOT of fun modeling to be done outside the small world of Cobras, and it looks like he's been taking that advice to heart. Drive on! B)

Back in business!

Supply order arrived from hobbylinc.com in Georgia. I ordered via eBay and chose them before they had the Alclad spray plus the other paint I needed!

Colors are Tamiya TS-79 Semi gloss clear and TS-7 Racing White which is a warm white. Last is my favorite color I cannot build without.. Testors Dullcote!

I got that kit last year but haven't started building it yet. Hope to start soon on it though. Are you going to use the stock wire wheels on yours?

Wow! This catalog is better than expected. With covers, it's 164 pages. It has stuff I had no idea Revell offered. And the catalog doesn't just cover the stuff coming out Europe. There's a section on American stuff. This catalog is cool. I didn't know Revell of Germany was selling IMC's Opel Admiral Saloon. I decided to order one. I also see they're coming out with a model of a VW T2 Bus. Part of their "easy-click-system." From searching on eBay, it does seem to out yet. But, as soon as is, I plan on buying one.

This caught my eye in the Revell catalog too. It says "New Tool." Hopefully a improvement over the old Revel/Aurora kit?

I'm looking forward to getting a few of these, I'm informed it's going to be available around October

I made an offer on a 7 model lot on the bay . It was accepted and the kits arrived today . Boxes are open but everything there and in untouched condition . Really didn’t want everyone so I may sell or trade off a couple .
