Got this in the mail toda and I p=lab on using the Testors Color Shift Purple Fog paint on it. I’ve never use that paint before. You have to say an black base coat on. But do you still primer the body before the base coat?

@ModlbldrLooks like a Modelhaus bed. Parts in bag seem to have small rectangular label, Carol usually wrote out year etc on it. 
Nice find. No more from them ?. Miss those guys.

Not sure if it is. I didn't see any labels on anything like other Modelhaus items I have. However, it is very nice and Modelhaus quality. I'd love to know, if anybody is certain. 

I may pair this with a resin Dodge extra cab I have.

I went back to Amazon to find a link, unfortunately, it is listed as no longer available ( had to check my purchase history to find it again as it didn’t show up in the search of how I originally found it), maybe try eBay?

if you want to put an engine in the sierra, the escort engine bay from uscp is correct for these (with a small extension to the sides possibly) too. The escort cossie was just a rebodied sierra

I just cleared out the local motor factors of filler primer, the guy in the shop said he had more through the back so i bought it all too, along with a selection of other paints and primers. Turns out they cant sell more than 20 colours at a time or the anti grafitti rules freeze the till. Still i should have enough primer to keep me going for a while

USCP is supposed to be working on a drop fit engine/engine bay for this right now.
