Twokidsnosleep
Today I finally found an Italeri Ferrari 250 SWB!! Since Revell changed they're minds AGAIN about making they'res, I had to get it! My wife has the High- Tech Gunze kit, but I try to use as little metal in my builds as possible.I had to google that to see exactly what kit you meant. A very nice classic Ferrari kit for sure. What do you mean by ... "I try to use as little metal in my builds as possible"....allergy?? Amazing conversion to a stock GMC Motorhome, with detailed chassis and interior:http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Repstock/library/GMC%20Motorhome%20Project?sort=3&page=1The GMC Motorhome from the above link blew me away. Wow! That is a very, very nice model. One of the best I've ever seen. Impressive.

Lordmodelbuilder
I recently got a mostly complete AMT Crazy Horse Pinto model. I built one of these when they were new in the 70's. First picture is the model I just got & the second picture is the parts I had in my parts bin from the 70's build. Can't wait to build this one again. "I try to use as little metal in my builds as possible"....allergy?? Im the type of modeler who believes in using as much plastic as possible in my builds, rather than remaking everything out of metal. to me, The ART of modeling as we know it, is taking plastic and making it look like something else through painting and detailing. There will always be exceptions though, like photo etch scripts, and extremely tiny details. I know telling you this wont make me a favorite amongst builders, but this is how I believe. thanks for asking

I have no problem with your opinion, definition of modelling and convictions, thought I may not share them all entirely. Not the place for debate, so guys don't jump on this

Dann Tier
that is a beautiful haul , some great plastic there.Agreed! you definitely scored!! That Lancia almost looks like the Tamiya version. I have that Mustang as well, and I think its a pretty decent kit, although mine has a warped roof.

highway
This is more what I (partially) got accomplished today, getting two more shelves put up in my model room. The little natural wood 3 shelf bookcase will be replaced with another matching 5 shelf to the two on either side, and I still have to get the 3 other shelves in the two new ones and get the models loaded on it.
